Cleanliness plus!
Yes, I am one of those perfumas who don't always necessarily want to smell perfumed. I also like it when I just have a delicate touch of "Pollita" around me and nothing more. Not a scent that immediately fills the room, that is immediately recognizable as a perfume, that suits me very often. A subtle woody scent can fulfill that, a light, bright incense scent, and of course a musky perfume. Yes, I love delicate musky scents. But among all those on the market, most are just too clean for me, if you get my drift.
There so often you feel like you're standing in a laundry room or a laundry. All the machines and especially the dryers are full to the brim and running hot. Nope, so I do not like to sniff. I like it subtle, delicate, unscented. But, very important, please not too powdery.
Etros Musk fulfills me this desire exactly. Because he smells just not at all like detergent or fabric softener. This is spring magic in a bottle. He starts with bergamot, grapefruit and - one of my meanwhile absolute favorite notes for spring and summer - verbena. A fragrance note that I only got to know and love consciously here on Parfumo. This delicate freshness embeds itself alongside the white musk on very subtle woody notes. Here we have a sandalwood note that I really find indescribably beautiful. No pressboard steamhammer, no cashmeran, just simple soft light wood, no frills at all. It's also a tiny bit floral with a few florets. And guaiac lets a tiny bit of sweetness shine through every now and then, but it's only perceptible if you want it to be. The same goes for the rose. If you don't know it, you won't notice it. That's what makes a round composition for me. Nothing bites, nothing scratches, nothing stings. A fragrance that you can always and everywhere wear and that just leaves a pleasant feeling on the skin.
Etro Musk will definitely move in with me. So a slightly tart-fresh fellow, which has fully deserved the predicate "cleanliness plus", I'm still missing in my collection next to the lovely sweet Muschio of SMN and the rather bright white and yet vanilla-tinged Silver Musk by Nasomatto.
Thank you, my dear Heikeso, for grabbing this one for me. Etro was such a brand, which I had already no longer on the screen, because so far just none could convince me. Well. Musk has shown me that this can change in a flash. And now I'm going to order....
