Pear fragrance with floral accords and a sweet tonka base
I really liked Gold Immortals Extrait. First of all, I have to mention that it will most likely appeal more to women than men. Nevertheless, I think this fragrance is definitely wearable unisex and I like it myself as a man too.
My girlfriend thinks it's quite good, my mother likes it and my father doesn't like it at all. But my father prefers the classic designers and simply finds it difficult to find a niche.
What we get here is a very floral pear fragrance with a sweet tonka base.
The fragrance starts fruity, floral and very slightly fresh.
The pear is immediately recognizable.
I myself had the Blue Talisman in my possession, for example, and it also had pear in it.
I liked that. The pear here in Gold Immortals is more or less the same. But the pear is accompanied by floral notes in Gold Immortals.
As it progresses, the pear and floral notes recede a little and the sweet tonka base always comes forward a little.
This process is a little drawn out and it is exciting to observe how the impression changes bit by bit.
The pear and floral notes recede and the tonka bean and amber come to the fore.
Towards the end, as already mentioned, I only notice the tonka bean amber base.
Vanilla also mixes in a little, however.
I can't understand comparisons like I read here with a Montale Intense Café.
I am always very tolerant and always mention that fragrances are subjective, but I find the comparison with an Intense Café very strange. These two fragrances smell completely different to me and have nothing in common.
