Organ #7
Imagine sitting alone in an old cathedral just after the funeral dedicated to a child that has ended. the last notes of the organ are still hanging in the air, while te warmth of the people who were there slowly disappears into the cold stone walls. there is something incredibly soft about the silence that follows. a faint sweetness lingers in the air, almost creamy and powdery, with a strange reddish, fruit like softness underneath. then comes the smoke, gentle incense and myrrh rising slowly toward the ceiling, surrounded by the earthy darkness of old moss. it doesn't feel overwhelmingly dark or mournful. there is something innocent about it, almost fragile. like grief being transformed into something quieter, something that doesn't erase the sadness, but gives it a sense of peace. organ #7 feels like the moment after the final prayer, when te organ stops playing and the silence finally speaks for itself.
