Arizona Bloom Floral Street 2020 Eau de Parfum

Arizona Bloom: I smell the salt and pepper at first spray, then as it's drying down, it turns into a light woodsy aroma. The coconut is barely noticeable to me, not much sweetness here. I think this fragrance would be nice for those who enjoy nature and hiking! Because of the woodsy scent, I think this is a unisex fragrance.

I love the musky, peppery woody notes but man there is something off about either the coconut or the "cashmere" aspect of the cashmere wood. There is a sweet note that is thin and sickly, like expired coconut spilled in the back of the fridge. The peppery bit is very lovely, bright and spicy and not harsh in the slightest

My nose is picking up a significant backbone of ambroxan in this fragrance. I might be wrong, but if I'm right, it'd explain some of the mixed reviews (elsewhere) - many people are anosmic to that note, and it seems to be the main event here.

It otherwise reads as a slightly beachy / slightly coconutty version of "Not a Perfume". Low-key, "blurry" blend of coconut and cedar. It feels smudged, soft, casual - like a comfortable cashmere scarf, wrapped around a neck.

Dearie me. The idea is great and unique: a gentle, sweet, coconut water fragrance with a hint of salt.

Unfortunately there is some note or combination that smells creamy and balmy, like quite strong sunscreen, and that combined with the salt is just overwhelming.

I think a slightly reworked version of this scent could be great, but I find it unwearable as it is.

The good point: two sprays lasted quite long on me, from the morning to 5pm.

I don’t know fully how to feel about this scent. After the first time I tried it I thought I hated it, but a month later my travel sized bottle is almost out. On the opening (most of the time) I get a beautiful blast of an almost photorealistic coconut, like a big swig of fresh coconut water. Then it quickly moves into a harsh synthetic wood smell. Sometimes I’ll still get coconut on my skin, but most of the time I just get that terrible pencil shavings smell. nnThen it either fades away quickly somewhere in the 2-5 hour mark and I can’t smell anything, or sometimes I’m left with a gorgeous, musky, coconut skin scent that’s just a little too woody for my taste. nnBut that’s just on my skin, on my girlfriend’s it becomes the sexiest most alluring coconut, musky scent. It’s comforting, sexy, and thrilling, like a hug from your teacher or maybe your boss that you have a crush on. I wish it always smelled like this. It’s a good scent to layer with, it’s made some of my other scents more interesting. I might purchase another travel sized bottle when I finish, because of how well it layers, and the fact that layered with other scents, even other woody scents, the wood scent is bearable, some how other woods tame that terrible synthetic / pencil shavings-y smell. Overall I think it’s not worth the blind buy, but I think people who enjoy coconut and woody scents should give it a try. I hope to find sometime like this, just better executed one day.
