A gentle Chypre
Initially "Bouquet de la Reine" is a wonderful lightgreen, citrous scent, the blackcurrant buds are evaporating their special smell. I am perceiving already the bitter oakmoss, for me its now already perfect! But of course, "Bouquet de la Reine" is a floral chypre. Consequently it should not going to become to sweet and to gourmand instead of staying tangy. Therefore the following flowers of the heart notes are appearing in a noble transparent blend. Jasmine is guiding this mixture first, later the tuberose is more present. Woody and spicy notes together with the everlasting scent of oakmoss are preventing a complete floral dominance. Compared with other ancient chypres like "Hasu-no-Hana" for instance "Bouquet de la Reine" is a subtle and mild chypre. Excellent ingredients are resulting a high quality and balanced chypre-perfume. If I wouldn't have known I never had considered "Bouquet de la Reine" as an ancient fragance.
