Nicely Done Sunny Fresh Lemonade

This is a very uncomplicated lemonade scent with a bit of orange zest, it is mouthwatering juicy with the right amount of tartness, not overly sweet. I think this would be a good one for layering. Yes! It is totally unisex. Yes! It is uber-fresh! No! This does not smell like Lemon Pledge (wood Cleaner). No! This is not very mind-blowing or sensual, IMO. The base is just a light fresh lime note that comes out about an hour or so after application. It has better longevity than "Fresh Lemon Sugar". As far as straight forward lemon scents go, this is definitely a top contender. The nice thing about fragrance sampling from Garden of Ireland is that all of the samples I purchased go towards a credit if I later purchase a full size bottle. However, I have sampled most of this line and haven't come across anything I couldn't live without so far. But Farmhouse Lemonade would probably be an economical safe bet for gift giving to known lemon scent lovers of all ages.

Thanks to Knickzimt - by chance I read your comment and immediately ordered the small bottle from Kultkosmetik.

At first, the scent reminds me faintly of freshly sprayed 4711, but over time, the aromas of the fruits come through more and more, and there is only a slight hint of 4711 left, which lingers for a long time and doesn't fade away.
I sprayed the fragrance this morning at 7 AM and I can still faintly sense it. However, I won't be buying another bottle, as there are much fruitier scents for my nose that don't constantly remind me of 4711. Refreshing for hot days, where a "cool" little fragrance is simply needed, which doesn't require any depth but just needs to be refreshing!

The Essential, Freshly Brewed

When farmers brew soft drinks, they do it right. They know: Nothing is as beautiful as nature. And they also know: Nothing is as unnecessary as excess. So they chop lime, lemon, orange, and bergamot, apply good pressure to the presses, strain it properly, and fill it into thick glass bottles. Under rough sayings, it is then swirled again and promptly released for use.
It's nice when the essential is done and otherwise just nothing at all. Like here. The famous citrus quartet is definitely the first guard, even though I can't quite believe that there's nothing else in it (it says so everywhere). No matter, it is always exciting how perfumers can conjure up accords with just four or five common fresh fruits with ever new facets. What strikes me about this one is that it is rustic, almost malty fresh close to the skin, while from a distance a fine sweetness appears, skimming uniquely close to being squeaky yet still belonging to a lemonade. Everything is so juicy and fun, so unknown yet gripping and appetizing, that I would like to recommend at least a test to anyone who can still handle a summer scent. At least for the women, because for me and surely many other men, this mentioned sweetness is a tad excessive. Still, a big recommendation from me. I wish for a drink that tastes exactly like this. I will serve it in the summer on a meadow by the stream to all those I like, and then we will chat with the tree frogs until the moon comes. ;)
