Typical eau de vie
The first thing you notice is an intense and powerful citric note, with a subtle acidic accent, which carries a soft herbaceous nuance in the background, thanks to the lemon in combination with the bergamot.
At the same time, the two notes mentioned above are accompanied by a slightly attention-grabbing, ethereally mobile note that exudes a light fruity sweetish touch and comes from pepper and lemon.
A little bit later another sweetish fruit was revealed.
Fresher, quite delicately reminiscent of a shower gel.
Clean, but not soapy.
Very slightly acidic, but no cleaning agent
The green apple is pleasantly accompanied by a fine, light, sweet, Mediterranean-herbal nuance of lavender, which ensures that the apple does not appear too sweet - synthetic, but is still "reasonably" wearable.
These two notes are surrounded by the deep and dark sweet scent of blackcurrant, which is accompanied by very delicate, airy, peppery nuances in the background, and in my opinion this interplay of the last two notes mentioned is responsible for the fact that the fragrance has this, for me: "typically male deodorant" association.
In the last 3 hours, a fine, almost transparent, light Virginia cedar with a subtle resinous touch is perceptible, which is caught by the almost fragile earthy sweet tones of patchouli.
BUT: The entire base does not completely master the synthetic prevailing in the fragrance and must therefore surrender to this "power" after 4 hours and always lets a light, aggressive, clean wooden tone of the Iso-E-Super stand out as the "pressing" tone of the actual base and unfortunately I was not able to perceive amber and musk and any other woody notes
In total the fragrance lasts 7 hours on my skin
In the first 30 minutes, the Sillage is designed in such a way that you can be very clearly perceived at a full arm's length and then settles for 2 hours at a very clearly perceptible half arm's length, before it reduces in relatively rapid steps until the fragrance has died out.
