No soda and no candy, only nature
Wrong: of course art, but without artificiality. It's artificial, but so natural. Got it? Wait a minute, I'll explain.
At first deceptively genuine grapefruit aroma: not as tangy as lemon, not as sweet as tangerine, not so... uh, bergamot like bergamot on the temple altars and markets of Vietnam. The fragrance is mildly bitter and only slightly fresh.
The following flower-herb-melange fits perfectly to the grapefruit. The notes are hardly recognizable as themselves, but serve to prolong the otherwise fleeting top note by making the various aspects of grapefruit shine: Jasmine the Bittersweet, Lavender and Rosemary the Essential Oily and Green.
Over the next few hours, the fragrance retains its character without being static. The beautiful grapefruit note remains until the end, softer with a light light musk touch.
The perfume is very well structured. The differentiating accents of the heart note make it look natural, by no means flat or kitschy. On the one hand it has nothing to do with cologne in the sense of refreshing waters, on the other hand it is miles away from a gourmand.
This Gandini scent is similar to Miller Harris's "Le Pamplemousse": both explore the aromas of the citrus peel and put aside the fresh, juicy and fruity ingredients. In style, however, they are quite different. If they were paintings, Miller Harris would be an expressionist oil painting, Gandini a watercolour. If the English scent is too strong for you, the Italian one is recommended
