Muse du Soir Georges Rech

Muse du Soir is a very dark, sweet, thick, and powdery fragrance with quite strong sillage.

My husband is sitting about a meter away from me, and he can smell exactly this scent, which I have only applied with one spray on my hand. Not particularly much, but it is quite intense.
On the other hand, I am wearing Loukhoum Eau Poudrée because I wanted to compare them directly. This hand is much closer to my husband.
However, it is indeed the Muse du Soir that my husband smells and not the Poudrée. It radiates further and more intensely. I find that both fragrances absolutely come from the same fragrance family. The Poudrée has a brighter note and a slightly almond-like quality that overlays the dark sweetness, but they are indeed strongly comparable. If I had Mancera Roses Vanille here, I would have compared that too, or Rose Jam from Lush. They all have this sugary sweet rose scent as a base.
Muse du Soir is a black syrup scent that feels dark and thick like molasses and casts a dark sweet veil over everything to extinguish the last light. I particularly smell the combination of sugar, cherry, and rose loukhoum.
Its time is winter, and it prefers the evening and night. The deep black bottle is aptly chosen. When held against the light, a black-red shimmer emerges, just like dark, rose-red blood.
Fortunately, the scent has nothing to do with blood, perhaps only stylized, depending on the associations.

I like the fragrance; it will have its occasions with me. Winter with long, dark nights is coming, and this scent has something warming alongside its sweetness.
