Fresh floral musk
The house of Gianfranco Ferré is very under the radar, manly because it doesn't have any big fragrances on the market neither a strong marketing to support them.
This fragrance is a total ghost. There's almost no information about it, except some websites that carry this fragrance and supply the note list. Even the year of release isn't known for sure, although, i think it came out in 2020 just because my bottle is from 2020 and i didn't saw any information before that year. Perfumer is also unkown. The GF website doesn't have any information about fragrances neither the Angelini Beauty website, which is the producer/distributor of the brand. It lists Trussardi, Laura Biagiotti, Armand Basi and other brands but no mention about GF.
So, i came to know (and bought) this fragrance after seeing some Youtube videos about it from Scent Land channel. He gave high marks on it and i decided to try to find a bottle. It was very difficult because in Europe, only one bulgarian website had this one. I found a deal on a tester bottle and grab it before it became out of stock.
Thankfully, the bottle came with a cap which, btw, is nice and heavy. And talking about the presentation, it's quite nice. Blue juice, a metal plate with the name of the brand and the name of the fragrance and a nice heavy and transparent bottle. The sprayer is a bit strange. It's like a Dior sprayer, where you can control the amout of perfume that came out, but, it sprays a lot of juice and with a high length. So, i recommend you to spray from a distance.
In regards of smell, its super bright and fresh. Almost clean sheets after ironing. Really appealing and not sweet or synthetic like many contemporaries. It's based on a bergamot-jasmine-musk accord. Basically, starts a bit tart, super fresh and citrusy. The bergamot is very present but always with a clean, slightly powdery musk underneath it. The composition is rounded by a jasmine note that isn't indolic rather soft floral and delicate. The fragrance is not ultra complex nor static. It's fresh all the time but it mellows and rounds a bit when it reaches the drydown (after 2h) and starts to fade away after 4-5h.
The performance isn't great, specially in terms of projection but it lasts a good amount of time on skin. You can over apply it without a problem due to its fresh softness character. It's almost impossible to offend anyone with this. It's appealing, polite and casual. Excellent for work, gym or a walk on a beach side. Springtime scent manly, but it fits well the summer time temperatures. I wouldn't wore it in winter, just because i prefer denser perfumes for that time.
Overall, a good perfume that reminds me of 212 Men and CK One without being any of those. But the fresh floral-musk character is similar to those. Great value for the money. 3/5
