A sensual rose garden
With my last orders I happened to have a small sample of Acqua di Gioia with me, actually declared as a women's perfume, but I was curious. A man uses women's perfume? Yes, that's right. "Giovanni Trapattoni in his prime would say. I'm just curious, and beginners try lots of scents. I have nothing to do anyway because of the current health situation in Germany
I wore the fragrance mainly in the evenings at home. But how do I describe the scent now? Do men have different noses? Anyway...the scent opens with a wonderful freshness. You can clearly smell the lemon and the pear. But within the first hour you realize more and more where you are, namely with your nose in a bouquet of roses. Nowadays you can also recognize more and more often a rose in men's perfumes. For many, this is probably hate or love, and I am also sure that roses do not suit all men. I personally wouldn't leave the house with it, because just because I try the fragrance, it doesn't make it more masculine.
In the further course of time, the scent remains linear with the above mentioned peony and very distinct. With a little sensitivity one can guess the cedar wood note, the brown sugar makes the rose a bit sweeter but without being obtrusive. The shelf life is not more than average for an eau de toilette, even if the scent can be sniffed on clothes for a long time
Would I want to smell the perfume on a lady? Yes, by all means! Who wouldn't want to snuggle up to fragrant flowers as a man, especially in spring and summer?! It's nothing spectacular what Armani has thrown on the market, but it's solid, fresh and flowery and definitely wearable from a feminine side.
