My Code for Hot Days
**Scent:**
Armani Code Ice opens with a very fresh, slightly synthetic top note, consisting of mint, ginger, and a hint of citrus. After a few minutes, the scent transitions to the heart note, where I only consciously perceive lavender. The creamy and quite successful base note strongly resembles that of the regular Armani Codes. Here too, creamy woods are paired with tonka bean.
**Longevity & Sillage:**
This scent lasts quite a long time on me, especially considering that it is a fresh fragrance. I can still smell the base notes for up to 9 hours after applying the fragrance.
The projection is strong for about 2-3 hours, after which the scent gradually retreats, but it never becomes completely skin-close for me.
**Versatility:**
Here, this fragrance scores again. In my opinion, it can be worn all year round, without exception. This is made possible by the successful interplay of fresh, woody, and masculine scent notes.
Personally, I wear Code Ice more on very hot days in spring and summer, as I prefer heavier and sweeter fragrances on other days.
