A shop siren

Sirens - in Greek mythology a number of winged creatures or women, whose singing lures sailors too close to the rocks.
This is a shop siren. It is a scent made to lure innocent people into buying it, based on the top notes: sweet and citric in the right amount. I fell for it. I trusted myself at that time, being able to recognize a great new classic when I met it. I bought it after two minutes. And I really liked it. For the next three weeks. Then it started to bore me. The backside of this scent is that it has a really nice top, and I love the raspberry note a lot. But then nothing else happens. On my skin it does not change which is a thing that I love and expect in a good scent. It just fades. No cedar. No rose. No patchouli. No nothing. What a shame. If raspberry is your thing, try Lancôme’s Tresôr Midnight or Flower by Kenzo l’Elixir. They are two really delicious raspberry scents.
The bottle, though, is nice. I like the surface, and it fits greatly in my hand.

Mellow treatment

DIAMONDS… what a cold name! Cold bottle with cold sparkle around it. I do not like the design of DIAMONDS, and do not think, that it fits well to this warm and mellow fragrance.
I am really a big fan of niche perfumes. At the same time I have to admit, that I never felt such aroma as during wearing DIAMONDS.

A pleasant surprise bases the light mood of testing. Amber and rapsberry. What an original medley of stunning, melting womanity!
Thierry Wasser was not sparing with ideas, and the result is a metallic and fruitty sweet period. Cantaloup is the nearest association for my nose + cold and clear steel.
Unfortunately the fragrance is weak and so ashamed by its own oddity, that after one hour it is a skin scent, after a few hours there is barely any aroma on my wrist. Sillage is also weaker than moderate.

Diamonds are a girl's best friend

This is indeed a lovely, feminine and sweet fragrance.

The notes of raspberry and litchi are quite prominent in this fragrance, however they are not strong and overly fruity, instead they are light and sugary, almost like smelling a bag full of sweets.

The scent itself is very refreshing and pretty. In the drydown I sensed some spiciness, which I assume comes from the vetiver note. The combination of sweet fruits blended with the spices has been achieved successfully, producing a scent that is both classy and elegant.

I believe that this fragrance is being marketed to a younger audience, hence the decision in making Beyonce the face of Emporio Armani Diamonds. This scent is very appealing to younger women because it is so sweet and light, however I much prefer Versace Woman's raspberry notes over and above this fragrance, even though I'm within the targeted age range.

I agree to a certain extent that there is something in this fragrance that does smell a little artificial, but with that being said, this is not a cheap or nasty smelling perfume.

Emporio Armani Diamonds still maintains the sophistication and excellence of Giorgio Armani scents, and the lasting power is quite good.

I don't think I'll be purchasing this fragrance, but I do recommend this scent for any one who enjoys sweet fragrances like Showtime by Kylie Minogue and Can Can by Paris Hilton.
