Everything I was looking for...
...to get through the cold months. Gucci Guilty Intense is a love for me! I don't do signature scents because I don't want to limit myself but this one comes very close! Light sweetness in a bottle with some nicely blended flowers and some pepper and patchouli in the background.

Yes, this is a floral scent, but it's not what I'd usually expect from a floral perfume. I've been a little apprehensive of florals, mostly because a lot of them contain heavy white flowers or a rose note that dominates everything. No, this is definitely not your stereotypical flower powerhouse. Nor is it heavy or suffocating. The geranium and lilac work really well together and don't take center stage.

Guitly Intense is rather fresh and 'sparkly' smelling, almost like a glass of champagne with some fruit added. I also get a whiff of honey whenever I put this on, even though it's not listed as a note. Delicious!
I don't find it especially sexy (I've owned sexier scents!), I just wear it because I like it. It's appropriate for leisure or daily wear during winter as well! Don't turn this beauty down simply because it used to be a popular clubbing perfume!

I've received a couple of compliments when wearing this, mostly from my friends whenever I hug them. Like I said earlier, this is no powerhouse with beast sillage and presence. It's a bit light and I usually spray around 5 times so that other people can smell it on me as well. Longevity could be better, however the real problem with this scent is that it becomes a skin scent rather quickly. After about 4 to 5 hours it just becomes a skin scent that you can barely pick up anymore. It lasts longer on clothes so I just spray some on my scarf. I will probably have to repurchase this one when I run out.

Smothering Lilac and Heliotrope
I don't know whether an intense version of this fragrance was entirely necessary. To be fair, the original Guilty was fairly short-lived, and while Guilty Intense is an improvement in terms of projection and longevity, it leaves much to be desired.

Gucci Guilty Intense is a pleasant fragrance, easy to wear and a sure crowd-pleaser. It shows a somewhat interesting contrast between peppery florals and earthy patchouli.

Since this fragrance has been 'amped up' to an EDP, what was considered pleasant in the original fragrance, now smells sharp and at times, a little screechy. The pink pepper accord is unfortunately overwhelmingly strong on my skin, smothering the feminine lilac and heliotrope blend.

I personally like to wear scents that make me stand out from the crowd and feel exceptional. Once again, (similar to my reaction to the original Guilty), this flanker comes across as bland and overrated. The high price tag leads you to expect so much more.

Gucci Guilty Intense is much warmer and more elegant than its predecessor, making it a good choice for Autumn and Winter. Fans of the original fragrance that had issues with its lasting strength, will most likely enjoy this intense EDP flanker.

Modern and simple
It’s quite sweet and feels easy to wear, offering a modern and simple character that does not overwhelm. The fragrance leans more toward intimacy rather than boldness, making it soft and approachable. I would describe it as a safe and versatile choice for a young fashionista who appreciates accessible elegance and understated charm.

oriental lovers only. fruity florals beware
Well, all those people on the right have it, so it must appeal to some. On me, it was stomach turning. I heroically stuck it out for an hour but, in the end, had to scrub. Rotting lilac and pest control chemical.Very strong and thick oriental. I have a hard time with amber and patch.

the black sheep
After Guilty had hopped towards me, charming and lively like a little lamb, and had fortunately rendered the title "Guilty" absurd, I positively approached trying Guilty Intense.

Although the Intense appears fuller and darker, I cannot assign any "guilt" to it either.
This fragrance is also soft and seductively cuddly - and in no way wicked or even offensive.
It may be the black sheep in the herd, but it is also tame and cozy.

The pepper is mild-spicy and the lilac enchanting, yet unobtrusive.
Amber adds a gentle glow to the fragrance, and patchouli is responsible for the dark fleece of the sheep.

A scent that, although a favorite, stands out from the crowd.

I don't know which marketing genius named this incredibly attractive fragrance "Guilty," because the wearer really shouldn't feel guilty at all.

On the contrary - my fellow humans find the scent very warm and inviting - just like I do.

A peppery lilac scent that brings coolness to the office. Understated and not playful despite the fruit, a go-to for everyday life.
