Mountain flower scent

It's beautiful indeed. Flowery base with a slight wooden nuance, not sweet, very discreet and composed. And the citrus notes create a fresh, crisp, clean and cold feeling. It really reminds you of a walk in the mountains, where the air is fresh and filled with wildflowers and tree pollen scent.

One of the best AAs if not the best one.

Felt mountain

Gentian grows in high altitude and so, there is a mountain stroll feeling in this composition... the chilly air, the excitement of reaching the top, the joyful solitude... Aqua Allegoria Gentiana starts bitter and sparkling (makes you think of a gin tonic; both gin and tonic water are infused with gentian, and i have never smelled true gentian, so i guess there it is) and also with a cool citrus note. A calming pear and vanilla counterbalance this transparent composition, adding some juicy sweetness, making of Gentiana a very fresh, gentle and aromatic fragance, easy to wear in the warmest seasons.

Quiet, meditative

Gentiana is the calmest of the Aqua Allegoria line. Quiet, meditative loveliness.

While it opens with citrus, Gentiana moves quickly to gentian, with a delectable pear note that provides a fresh yet demure roundedness. A light woody muskiness follows.

I believe this is discontinued, but if you can find it, its fresh whisper could be the perfect complement to sunrise or dusk in spring or summer.
