My fragrance of summer 2018
Already in 2017 the fragrance came on the market and I was happy when I found mail from Guerlain in my mailbox. At the next opportunity I went straight to the KaDeWe for testing. Normally it takes half an hour until I can sniff out the scent properly and determine whether I find it pleasant or not. This time it was different - after 10 minutes I had a connection to this fragrance. It is a green fragrance with a sensual component. Without knowing the fragrance pyramid before, I expected the description of the nice Guerlain lady, a (typically green) sparkling, light and after 3-4 hours flown away fragrance. That was not so - my perceptions to the smell:

For me this is a completely different green fragrance:
Sensual (but not woody), refreshing (but not citric-spritty), flowery (but not rosy, flowery, girlish), creamy (but not powdery and not a trace of fabric softener).
What does the scent do to me:
He gives me a stop when I have to be tough, he catches me when I need a motivation kick, he gives me the basis for my sovereignty in my profession (IT industry) and leaves me a veil of passion for the evening - just right for the time on the couch with my husband - according to the motto "Good evening darling - nice to hold you in your arms again" .... ;-)

Somehow this fragrance gives me energy throughout the day - in this sense I would like to recommend it to all those who are still struggling with it: Test several times and just write down your feelings, your feelings. Is interesting .... and does not wait for feedback from colleagues or other people.

Best regards
Taster

Tuberose? I don't really like tuberose
Joyeuse Tubéreuse astonished me, almost frightened me. I do not like tuberose, actually...
I thought until now.
I really wanted to test Joyeuse Tubereuse after Ciur Beluga. I was able to get hold of a bottling and am so happy about it.
To start, it's bright and airy green. This green top note actually stays with me quite long but quite delicate.
After quite a long time (about 1 h) comes out very fine a gentle and not at all headache-inducing tuberose. Like a breath of air she dances a round dance with lily and jasmine. This heart stays with me for hours. Not room filling but skin deep and subtle. I also find the vanilla not sweet.
With the base note it is quite round and stays forever without being too slaying or stuffy.
Conclusion - I love it.

Not a novel - a life story. Almost.
Honestly, I know, nothing like a foreword. But I don't always need a foreword, and no, that's not what I mean, but still a missing foreword. We can also say a pun which leads to the actual topic. A game that prepares you for real life? No, a play on words that often has a deeper meaning, which most people only reflect on in the first fractions of a second and then forget or repress again. Without sense or reason. Anyone who can follow me now is good. I don't want to get gushy, but I'm not good at getting around it. That was my obligatory preface. I don't like to talk about things that are fleeting or horrible, or only briefly, without emotion. Just like about Joyeuse Tubereuse, who like a short orgasm without depth or a twitch two or three times quickly fizzles out again before he was really there, similar to a neck scratch, early in the morning. What remains is a kind of indifference about what has happened, what has been, without the blink of an eye of melancholy, longing or the like. An inconsequential something.
Not a novel - a life story. Almost. Why? The perfume lives, up to and including the heart note. Afterwards everything is so wonderfully deposited by vanilla, no matter how green and fresh it was at the beginning. To crown it all, it performs rather poorly than well in terms of shelf life, max. 4-5 hours. For me a vanilla scent with a fresh start.

A secret and perhaps unknown masterpiece / If anyone can do it, Guerlain can!
Hello everyone,

that Guerlain has an absurdly great and high quality is nothing new and I'm not just talking about the "very good" Privee line (as here), but in general. A truly outstanding manufacturer/ great house.

Why am I saying this so explicitly?

Firstly, because that's just the way it is - period.
Secondly, because this indirectly begins the actual review of Joyeuse Tubéreuse. Because in my "almost" 24 years of being here (fragrance journey), I have really smelled some/many fragrances that have played with tuberose. Yes, some more and some less..., but at the end of the day it was always a note I couldn't chance with.

Why?

Many of us (including me) somehow always associate the fragrance with the scent (perfume) of a granny and it's not entirely a lie. Tuberose always (mostly and very gladly) seems flowery, creamy and somehow old = was never something for me.

Before Corona, my wife and I got a sample of the Joyeuse Tubéreuse and when I read Tuberose I thought to myself ... well that can't be anything, but when I read about Guerlain, there was suddenly excitement ;)

And...,

there is only one fragrance on the market (that I know of) that can incorporate tuberose very very very well and that is Guerlain = it was clear that they could do it!
In the end, I would only trust 2 brands to do it and that was Chanel (out of conviction) and Guerlain! I would even go so far as to use those big words like masterpiece...

Why?

I know a few of their hits from the line such as Cuir Béluga, Tonka Impériale or Angélique Noire (etc.) and yes, all of them are AWESOME, but you can only use them relatively selectively (season and suitable occasion). With the Joyeuse Tubéreuse it is the case that you can almost always wear it!
My wife recently emptied a new bottle and the compliments were ALWAYS amazing - really. I can recommend everyone to try it!

In itself it is UNISEX in my opinion, but goes in the feminine direction.

It is green, very FRESH, floral and creamy and you can feel the quality, a really, really great fragrance.

If I wasn't really convinced, I wouldn't recommend it to you!
And now have a nice day/evening, or whatever you read this review, LG the Benny

WE will definitely buy THIS again!

Bought and never regretted it
This is one of the fragrances I tested for a long time before I finally decided to buy it and I have to say I don't regret it for a minute.
The fragrance is green fresh floral, the tuberose is really, as the name says, a happy tuberose. The scent immediately puts me in a good mood. I have to say that the L'art et La Matière range has really special fragrances. Maybe because it contains vanilla! I just know that this fragrance is also very successful and will be a delight for people who love flowery, green and fresh fragrances with that certain something :)
