Powdery Berry Compote..
If the scent weren't too subtle for me, it would be a dream.
I am absolutely not a fan of berry notes, but this combination of berries and powdery iris and magnolia is very successful for me.
The fragrance starts with many dark berries and a hint of a very velvety dark rose. A little pink pepper shimmers in the background, but really just a pinch..
In the drydown, it becomes very powdery, and a stunning combination of iris and magnolia flatters my nose. Berry compote with a airy veil of iris and magnolia powder. In the further drydown, I smell a very warm sandalwood note and a stunning, almost buttery, vanilla.
