A Fragrance to Shine

The Diamond in the Sky is truly a fragrance to shine. Perfect for going out, feeling feminine.
The sweetness in this perfume is simply addictive!!!
Somehow the scent develops a bit of the vibe of Delina Exclusif over time. But only briefly and minimally. Even though no fragrance notes are listed in this regard.
I find that the Diamond in the Sky is even a bit more beautiful for me than the Trajan or the Baccarat Rouge 540 Eau de Parfum.
Great fragrance and way too many negative reviews.
But tastes are just different.

This is how saffron should smell.

For me, the brand HFC is my discovery of 2023. I can easily imagine that this brand will be very hyped in 2023, which I hope it won't be. Unbelievably beautiful fragrances, all with top H+S and an almost unimaginable luxurious and beautiful packaging and presentation. It simply doesn't get any better..

I have tested several fragrances from the brand now and I will start with "Diamond in the Sky | Haute Fragrance Company." To begin with, I hate "Baccarat Rouge 540 (Eau de Parfum) | Maison Francis Kurkdjian," and Diamond in the Sky has a DNA that goes in that direction, as many here also write, but only because of the saffron. However, if one had to compare these two fragrances, it leans more towards "Baccarat Rouge 540 (Extrait de Parfum) | Maison Francis Kurkdjian." The two fragrances are absolutely not twins, and Diamond in the Sky is definitely not a dupe; it is an independent fragrance that, sorry to all Baccarat Rouge 540 fans, is exactly what I wished for in Baccarat Rouge 540. This scent here is Baccarat Rouge in upgraded form. The beautiful saffron is a subtle, sweet, and very, very refined saffron that neither burns the nose nor smells like a dentist's office or hospital. The scent is powdery and very balsamic and simply smells more than fantastic. If you imagine Baccarat Rouge 540 totally without a dentist's office, with a slightly smoky, caramelized sugar note, or perhaps more like melted caramel, you can easily picture how this fragrance smells.

H+S is incredibly good. I can still smell the fragrance after 10 hours. It is so finely blended that it is perceptible all day long and has a very good sillage, without being intrusive or very loud.

My next purchase. Definitely..

Diamond in the Sky

Just the bottle alone is a great eye-catcher on the shelf. The design of the packaging is beautifully crafted. And the scent is simply stunning. Beautiful sweet and spicy saffron, creamy caramel, and vanilla. It reminds me strongly of Baccarat Rouge in the opening, only this one is much more intense and gourmand for me, spicier and warmer. Longevity is very good.
