Pure white beauty with a soft finish not in black but in light gray
Wow, what a gentle and delicious breeze, a little reminiscent of talcum powder, a little like the very fresh and innocent skin, that's how it comes across, what a cuddly companion. A light sweetness tickles me ever so softly, the scent of vanilla rises delicately and settles on our skin - like the feather of a newly hatched gosling. I find everything about the fragrance to be delicate, soft, quiet, bright, and powdery. A romantic par excellence. I don't see any outgoing sensuality here, unless one describes this romantic as a seducer with sky-blue eyes and fine blonde hair. I believe all girls from young to more-or-less-young fall in love with it! Honestly, it captivates you immediately. I also find that it lasts surprisingly well. It leaves something in my office that inspires incoming visitors to smile, hmmm, what smells so good here? Yes, indeed, it leaves something special. The flowers are only perceived very subtly; it reminds me a bit of freshly washed linen that has also been starched and is now drying in the sun, and of the boudoir of geishas who made their faces doll-like and ghostly with light rice powder... If the scent were a being, it would be a little fairy that doesn’t touch the ground with her feet, leaving only tiny points of contact. Men like this kind of fragrance; it’s so nice to cuddle and dream with it. The price for such a niche fragrance is almost normal at 130 euros for 100 ml, but it lasts well; however, it is a scent reserved only for those who are allowed to come very close to us - then they are in its aura. I delight in this beautiful, straightforward charmer; somehow, it always fits. I’ve even used it for layering, and it worked excellently. Perhaps we will return to the direction of quiet fragrances and no longer to the bang-bang-loud-I'm-here candidates... Mastering the art of perfuming is a skill that brings much joy to learn.

The Color White in Perfection…
A fragrance that simply blew me away. So powdery and so stunningly beautiful..

You really have to love very powdery scents to find this perfume great. So much for starters.. This scent is powder as it should be.. I cherish and love my Teint de Neige Eau de Parfum very much and Blanc Poudre has a very, very strong resemblance to Teint de Neige Eau de Parfum. Only the beautiful giant powder note in Blanc Poudre makes the scent a bit creamier than Teint de Neige Eau de Parfum, otherwise the similarity is astonishingly large.. So do you need both if you are into very powdery fragrances? Hmmm, actually hardly, but I must admit I have to hold myself back to avoid a purchase within a few hours.. Blanc Poudre takes me back to one of my favorite places on God's earth..

Blanc Poudre catapults me straight back to Louisiana. I find myself again at Oak Alley Plantation. As dark as the Civil War was, this cotton plantation is stunningly and enchantingly beautiful.. I stand almost alone in the blazing sun.. I absorb the beauty and the wind of history into myself.. My gaze drifts over to the endless fields of cotton.. As I walk back to the main house, I stroll through several small gardens with blooming flowers that smell so enchanting and soft.. This scent I will never forget.

The lightness that one knows from cotton is fantastically reflected in this scent and is supported by light, beautiful floral notes and one of the most beautiful powdery rice notes I have ever smelled in a perfume..

I don’t quite understand how some people can perceive silicone and artificiality in this dream scent, but luckily tastes are different.. Anyone who loves Teint de Neige Eau de Parfum should definitely try Blanc Poudre. Those who do not like Teint de Neige Eau de Parfum will not like this scent either..

Powder is everything, BUT NOT CLEAN!!
The question I ask myself is: Why is powder associated with fresh laundry?
In terms of texture, these are two completely different things.
Powder: soft/floury, laundry: firm/fluffy.

But still: Powder was used in the Middle Ages, after all, when it itched under the wig or somewhere else.
Perhaps even bedding & comforters were dusted with baking soda to drive away cockroaches and cucarachas, who knows;

My question is:
Has this "clean" feeling, from long ago when fast food places in Pompeii couldn’t survive due to volcanic-induced lockdowns, really manifested so strongly in our olfactory survival instinct genes that people STILL type on Parfumo today: YEAH! Super-clean-laundry scent!?

Yes, of course: White musk (the name says it all) stands solely & exclusively, majestically for radiant cleanliness. Okay. I completely agree with you.
But that’s not all that makes this, or any other, powdery scent; no, shouldn’t we think much deeper and broader here, and also give the powder its space to unfold, to distribute, to dust itself fresh and tidy into every last crevice? Or are we here associatively falling for a completely wrong freshness-laundry idea from other people who simply have no clue.

This should remain an open question at this point. So please, no comments below.
Everyone can think about this nicely for themselves today. Or do you have other things to do.

NO!

Velvety Soft Cotton Balls
I received this fragrance kindly from the lovely Hermia as an addition to a fragrance package, and I must say, it impresses me greatly.
It comes across as noble, very elegant and flattering. I feel transported to a boudoir, decorated entirely in white and cream-colored velvet. The lady of the house has just put on her ivory silk nightgown after having patted her entire body with delicate powder puffs following a long bath, generously dusting herself with rice powder. Cotton balls accumulate in a crystal bowl, and on a fine little wooden table stands an elegant bouquet of white cotton flowers. A delicate, sweet, not overpowering vanilla scent wafts through the room, creamy and soft, blending with the powder. The lady dabs her face with soft cotton balls, applies luxurious cream, and makes herself comfortable on her velvety chaise longue, which is draped with an elegant canopy.
I find this fragrance very elegant, noble, more suited for mature, ladylike women, not for young girls.

Clean scent with tar?
The first test spray triggered the association of "freshly tarred road" for me, no idea why. Nevertheless, my interest was piqued to get to know Blanc Poudre better. It's a pity that the specified flowers are not explicitly named, then I might come closer to explaining my association. Real cotton flowers don't smell at all, so the corresponding scent is an illusion or synthetic. But that doesn't matter. It still smells good. Essentially, Blanc Poudre is a very fine, truly noble fragrance. It's quite different from many other "clean scents." It doesn't undergo much development, remaining relatively linear and fine, perhaps a bit dustier than other powdery fragrances. The vanilla is integrated in such a way that it doesn't push itself to the forefront. What disappoints me is that none of the many great Heeleys last long on me. I would prefer just 50ml for the price, but with double the longevity, because I don't like to constantly reapply.

More fluffy powder and vanilla-cream than musk. This laundry detergent is rather edible

A powdery scent that I can live with. It lies between Teint de Neige (not for me) and Kenzo Amour (love it). Not a must-have, but good.

Nice little scent ... the name fits!
A bit floral, a bit of wood & musk added.

Porcelain powder in perfection. Pure white, cool, distant, elegant, graceful. Beautiful, but definitely not a "snuggle scent."

Cozy baby powder scent, but by no means just cute. Bright and full of friendliness. I find it quite strong already.

It surprised me in a powdery way. Totally different than expected. Sour? Yes. Silky? Yes. Do I still want it? Umm, yes!

Smells like a lightly scented tissue. Clean, cool, white, distant. Beautiful!! But I have to whisper because it’s sooo subtle... There’s something to it!
