Dogs that bark don't bite!
Everybody knows that line. Whether there's always some truth to it, let's put it there.
Personally, I'd say yes, I would. At least if the rod is wagging as well ;-)
House of Matriarch has very special scents that you like or dislike. Something in between
there isn't.
Alpha is one who - because he is so strangely special - fits my nose
Dark, smoky, resinous, dirty, green-bright and sharp-woody.
Alpha jumps at you immediately after the first spraying - no matter where - and barks strongly.
I would almost say, he even growls and you definitely flinch.
What a smoke, what a dark, resinous smoke, with thick cedar branches through
the air is whipped until everything is "smoky".
A fine breath of the smoke sticks to the body, as if you were heating the oven,
which still has some embers and starts to smoke again while the logs are being reloaded.
Fine resinous scent, made from resins that are not yellowish but clear to milky scratched from trees, fill the nose with an almost balsamic scent. Alpha is not medicinal or like an esoterically tinged scent. It's dark and smoky. Wonderful! One could almost think that Alpha becomes well-behaved in the course of, or let's say - after barking - "tail-wagging".
Always with the mischief in the neck and still to be enjoyed with caution. A delicate powdery note can be sensed and is immediately gone again. Don't give the impression that Alpha is a lapdog! No, no, no
So, on the whole a great fragrance for noses that like it dark and smoky and absolutely not ordinary.
