Could be perfect with better performance
One of my favourite smells... Fig, cream, iris and tonka Bean making a delicious, sweet, creamy and a bit powdery perfume. One of the BEST fig scents i have ever smelt. It is like smelling a fig mousse. I cant stop sniffing It when i spray It on my skin... However It has a small issue with performance. The longevity is not bad... Maybe 6 hours on my skin... (Not great but above average), but the sillage is weak... It just project the First hour (or less) and only un a subtle way and into a very small aura. After that It becomes a skin scent, It is like wearing a high quality figs cream... But an Also expensive one. The price of the fragance is not bad for being a niche (about 100€/50ml) . I think the scent is totally unisex better for cold temperaturas but as It is very soft could be worn Also under warmer weather (always spraying It carefully)... For me It worths because It is very different yo other fragances but the performance is just on the limit...

Off-putting blend of creamy figs, powdery tonka, nutty tree bark and vague fruity notes
I'm starting to realize I'm maybe not a fan of fig as much as I want to be. There's something absolutely off for the first few hours about this perfume. I get a plasticky fig that's also creamy, with some vague fruity notes. I get some woodiness from the tree bark and a weird nutty scent. I get powdery tonka bean and an off-putting sharp synthetic streak throughout the perfume. I really don't know, but all those notes threaded together give off a weird, muddled fragrance that's close to being repulsive to my nose. It does have that body lotion vibe as the fragrance morphs slowly on skin.

The drydown does get better where it starts giving off a vague fruity note and a soft, powdery tonka bean. It's not remotely close to a love, nor a like, but at least it's not as cringe-inducing as the start of the fragrance. I really don't know how people manage to pull off this scent since it's so weird. It'll never be a part of my collection and I highly recommend you test it before buying it.

Remarkably accurate title, yet somehow not what I expected
One of my favourite things perfume has granted me is the ability to smell like a fig tree. I'm always on the hunt for a good riff on figs, and this one is recommended very frequently. I didn't like it at first, but after spending some time with it over the past few months, I've started to dislike it less - to my nose, it's just not the clean creamy fig orchard everyone describes.

On my skin, the opening is pretty rough. I immediately get bombarded with a sharp and dusty note that's definitely woody, but not tree-like. If I had to describe it with an image, it would be a living room in the 70's: wooden walls, a comfy chair with a glass of whiskey, (that's probably how the wood/fruit reads to me, perhaps don't take that one too literally) and, crucially, old cigarette smoke. It's not unpleasant, but it's also pretty much the opposite of the rural garden they're trying to evoke by listing 'orchard dust' as a note.

It mellows out on the drydown, which is when I finally get some of the fig. However, I'm very much still in that 70's room, as the iris, wood and 'creamy' notes combine into something very reminiscent of old-fashioned soap. This is not a bad thing, but all I can picture is how the blanket on the couch that my grandma crocheted is freshly washed and my grandpa faintly smells like shaving cream and somehow this turned into their house but they're young and everything has a yellow filter and I can't tell if I'm really there or just looking in. It's a scent that feels very nostalgic in that sense, I can see how people find it comforting.

To me, this is a fragrance that a self-proclaimed vintage lover would enjoy. It's for people who want to smell like a polaroid, not for forest fairies or anyone hoping to encounter actual trees in this scent.

I wanted to like this!
This was a huge disappointment. I love the smell of real figs, both the latex in the skin and the jamminess of the inner fruit, but I'm getting none of that here. When sprayed on a card, the fruity notes do come through for me--that's what lingers on the dry-down. It's not quite fig for me, but it's pleasant! Unfortunately, that's not my experience with this scent on my skin. Me + Yesterday Haze = bitter, dusty, a little metallic. It did last all day, which would be great if it was a smell I liked.

Kinda Disappointing
Fig has been a really popular scent recently, so I was happy to see that Imaginary Authors has a fig fragrance. This scent was just dull. I got the slightly sweet and woody scent from the fig, with a bit of citrus in the beginning but then it drys down into a slightly sweet powder. Its pretty forgettable, especially because it doesn't have much projection or longevity. It only lasted me about 3 hours. Its a fine scent, it just doesn't seem original to me.

Creamy figs & other fruits w/ some spicy, woody, nuttiness. *Gorgeous* scent but poor performance for the price. I still love it though.

Nice, sweet, creamy and powdery figs scent mixed with iris, cream and tonka. If the performance would be better could be into my favourites

I loved the scent the first time I smelled it. Considered it full bottle worthy. I have come to not enjoy it that much after several uses.

I get powdery iris, subtle fig, nutty walnut, woody tree bark, & light cream. Leans lotion-y - like baby powder + creamy body lotion.

A Gris Charnel relative - but with a softer, more understated scent profile.

The woody notes, tonka and walnut create a nice balance for the fig and sweet cream accords. Does anyone else get hints of coconut?

Fig cream liqueur with iris petals on top. Great opening but it becomes too dry, powdery and dusty way too quick and for too long.

The nutty, fig, iris, and tonka bean go wonderfully together... for about 20 minutes, and then it nearly disappears.

Not sure I'm vibing with the creamy fig, the woody tree bark and the powdery tonka bean. The fruity notes also stick out like a sore thumb..
