It Smells Similar to Expensive Perfume

It is a nice Woody scent, Fresh, Clean, Light and Modern , This has a well combination of Grapefruit, Lemon and Pineapple in the Opening that smells so good and very pleasant.
It opens up with fresh citrusy, fruity, slightly spicy and green notes in the background then dry down is musky woody. It is suitable for the spring, summer and fall. The art of bottle design is very wonderful, because it's very heavy ! I really enjoy it and I'm so happy that I have this hidden gem in my collection. Longevity is good.

My Gateway into the World of Masculine Fragrances

Before I came to Parfumo, my experiences with unisex fragrances were limited to CK One and the Jardins by Hermes. A new world has opened up for me here, starting with Lutens fragrances and then continuing deeper into the expansive niche area...
However, I remained skeptical about fragrances considered purely masculine for a long time. Of course, I know/knew women who prefer these scents over women's perfumes. But in my entrenched view, the typical male fragrance user was a sporty person, casually dressed, with short hair, flat shoes, minimal jewelry, and makeup... I myself am quite different, a long-haired sports avoider, with a penchant for dresses made of lace and silk and glittery things; my jewelry collection rivals my perfume collection, and my only flat shoes are the (barely used) sneakers and hiking boots.
And yet, I have since changed my perspective! Here's how it happened:
A dear Parfumo member sent me some used bottles to test, including "Vision." "This could be something for you! Especially for business!" When I sniffed the bottle, a herbaceous-woody aroma hit me, which had apparently dried at the neck of the bottle. "Yuck, this is a typical men's scent!" "You have to test it on yourself!" Okay - and what did my nose encounter? Pineapple and mild citrus, underpinned by a slightly powdery, rather sweet base. I can also detect the apple. I don't find the scent woody on me.
Yes, it works very well with my skin chemistry and lasts quite a long time on me! I wouldn't have thought that...
A positive experience that I have since had with several masculine perfumes, although not the sporty-fresh ones but rather the warm-spicy or slightly sweeter direction.

Today, I wore Vision to a client meeting. Of course, the scent doesn't match with lace and ruffles, but it harmonized well with the simply cut maxi dress. And it suited the sweltering heat today!
For me, indeed a "business scent" even for the ladies!

Sweet Pineapple

In my opinion, Jaguar fragrances are underrated. There are quite a few really good Jaguar scents (performance, prestige) that hardly get noticed - what a shame.

Vision is a sweet pineapple fragrance that is very similar to the EDP by Steve McQueen. For those who are not familiar with this, Zara Man (black bottle) can be mentioned as a reference point. Overall, you are thus in the realm of Play Intense and similar fruity sweet scents - Vision lasts long, has strong sillage, and unlike most other Jaguar fragrances, it is more of a casual scent than an office fragrance.

The Synthetic Version of a Vodka/Citrus/Patchouli Bomb

Well, how can one judge a fragrance from the lower price category?
Objectively, perhaps without bias! It does have something to it; there are good combinations between the accords - fruity and sweet. I can honestly describe it as Vodka, and due to this alcoholic constant companion, it comes across as so synthetic that even the dearly loved Patchouli can't save it (though it is noticeable). I don't perceive woody notes, but I must say that I have only worn this fragrance at work, and I work in medicine. When I get disinfectant in my nose for 10 hours straight, soon nothing is functional anymore. Therefore, I will give this Jaguar another chance to make its vision clear to me.

The longevity is definitely more than top for the price (3-5 hours).

The sillage starts off too strong, then becomes rather soft (3-4 hours).

The attractiveness of the fragrance is good if you like fruity Patchouli, but one should not forget the synthetic accompaniment.

All in all, not a bad purchase in my eyes, but I still need to get used to synthetic fragrances.
