Where's the tea?
Hello my dear comment readers! Since I know that you always expect "new material" from me so longingly, I introduce to you also today once again a new smell :)
Today we are talking about Thé Poudré from Jean-Charles Brosseau's "Fleurs d'Ombre" fragrance collection. Yeah, you can already imagine that I'm very excited about the scent. Because first of all the scent is called Thé, so tea, and secondly the second part of the name "Poudré" points to a soft and powdery scent, which I like so much with women's scents or with you ladies, when your delicious... uh, I meant your soft skin appears even softer and more beautiful through powdery scents than it already is :)

That's why I don't want to beat around the bush for a long time and so I've already come to the description of the fragrance!

The fragrance:
At the beginning I smell iris, weak but sweet heliotrope, as well as weak bergamot and other light flowers. The sweet one soon becomes a little stronger, and since it smells a little like almonds, it is certainly the heliotrope that is gaining in intensity next to the iris. The iris makes the scent powdery and soft as usual and harmonizes especially with the beautiful heliotrope, while the other scents remain weak, but still serve as a "nice accessory".
A little later you still smell iris and heliotrope quite well. In the background it smells green every now and then, and the black tea gradually becomes noticeable, but unfortunately extremely weak, so that you can only smell it if you concentrate on it.
Much later I still smell best Iris and Heliotrip. Unfortunately, the tea does not get stronger, so that this scent could not be described as a tea scent. In addition to heliotrope and iris, there are light woods in the base, as well as a small sweet fragrance cloud coming from the musk. In addition there is a large "portion" of cleanliness. But by and large, the fragrance actually smells the most powdery and sweet from the beginning to the end, almost continuously and consistently.

Sillage and shelf life:
The Sillage is weak, the scent can only be smelled by others for a short time, and only at close range. That's why the durability seemed to me to be shorter with about five-six hours, well, let's say below average.

The bottle:
The bottle is octagonal and has patterned glass. These patterns consist of many pentagons, which are patterned again by themselves. The neck is gold plated and shows the fragrance/brand name. The lid is round and shiny red. All in all, the bottle is also wonderful because of the great pattern and therefore looks good.

Okay, so I have to say that although I liked the fragrance, it disappointed me a little. Yes, you've read correctly, the tea scent disappointed me, but that's because of the hardly existing tea scent, which I was very much looking forward to. It's almost as if you want to make tea, but let the tea brew for only a minute or even less and drink hot water instead (...bah... but I know women who even drank hot water for a while because they once read that it should make them slim... all just crazy... :DD).
On the other hand, the fragrance has little to offer in general. With a few exceptions, it always smells basically the same, so it hardly changes at all from start to finish. This does not necessarily have to be negative, but in addition there is the fact that the scent is so weak that you can hardly smell it on other people.

But I guess he makes a nice cuddle for it. Yes, I think, the scent is not only suitable for oneself, but is one of those scents, which you would call a cuddly scent, because you can only perceive it with others, if you get close to the person wearing the scent, at least... if he should allow it :D

Oh yes, the scent reminds a little of the clean scents of Prada like for example Infusion d'Iris, only that this one is a bit weaker and a bit simpler. But if I had a choice, I'd go for Prada more.

And that's it again! I wish you all a nice evening, then until the next time :)

A dream for the day
Starts very green, bit by bit the teen nuances assert themselves and I wonder if that was such a good choice. Well, at least you can't go far wrong with freshness, as far as the environment is concerned. Then again, yes..a small sweetness, a creaminess can be perceived quite cautiously. After an hour, it sits softly and finely on the green and all is well.
Close to the body, proud but unobtrusive, unusual, fine, of nothing too much..a little dream.
