Very mid, over sweet and forgettable.
Whether you like this fragrance largely depends on how much you like the Marron glacé or candied chestnut accord which is very sweet and all I could smell for several hours after spraying.
It opened well with a very nice black leather jacket vibe however that soon went away after five minutes at most. What comes up and stays there is that sweet scent. It plays quiet young and I really get the sense that PUIG are not going for a proper ‘private line’ here but rather what they feel might be a step up from the endless Le Male/Scandal bottles. In fact this could be a scent from those lines and no one would have thought anything of it.
Instead they have found a different bottle slapped a twice the price premium tag on it as a way to keep your business. The scents in the Les Ateliers Gaultier collection are anything but special.
It’s the kind of fragrance I gave away once I moved to better things. If your looking to spend this kind of money go for Crivelli/PdM or Tauer even.
