Apricot's seductive notes

The La Belle Flower Edition is the best of the two recently launched Flower Edition fragrances. In the world of JPG women's perfumes, the La Belle EDP profile wins me over. I find La Belle Le Parfum too heavy, and Divine doesn't quite charm me. Therefore, I had high hopes for this new release.

It's seductive, replacing the pear of the original La Belle with fresh apricot. Vanilla and patchouli form the woody base, while a white floral, osmanthus, adds a sophisticated touch. The result is an enveloping fragrance with a fresh top note and a velvety body. Classified as fruity, amber, and floral, it's perfect for transitional seasons, with notes that adapt to both cooler days and cooler nights. It has good longevity and moderate projection, ideal for special occasions, leaving a noticeable but not overwhelming impression.

A Bruised Apricot

La Belle Flower Edition is a fragrance that primarily smells of apricot.

A sweet, jam-like apricot. But to me, there’s an underlying scent that feels off. The apricot seems overripe, past its prime - almost spoiled. There’s a hint of dampness, something reminiscent of an old, musty cellar, which spoils what could have been a lovely fruity jam.

I can only assume this comes from the patchouli. It’s not entirely bad, but this undertone keeps me from fully enjoying it. For a beautiful apricot or osmanthus fragrance, I would rather go for Osmanthus.

Effortlessly chic

The latest iteration of la belle is a departure from the former ones and it is also one of the most original perfume releases of recent times. Hopefully won’t really be a limited edition. This is a sophisticated and easy to wear perfume that gives a carefree allure.
It starts with the impression of being surrounded by apricot trees in the orchard, there are the smells of nature around you and sweet flowers are blooming. It’s morning and it’s a bit humid, some slight marine breeze through your hair brings to your nose your vanilla flavored hair oil. For more details pls watch my YT video linked here below.

strong la belle fruity icing DNA as expected, with a beautiful white floral bouquet note and a slight powedery almond twist. there's a gorgeous vanilla icing base that provides extra sweetness with the fruit and slices through those white florals. it caused a strong surface allergic reaction in my coworker so there's definitely coconut in there

La Belle Flower Edition

I am trying my hand at my first review today, please don't be too harsh on me.

When I saw that the new La Belle Flower Edition Limited Edition was out, and I saw the fragrance notes, I knew immediately that I had to have it. Unfortunately, I am not a fan of the La Belle OG or its flankers, so I was extremely curious whether this one would live up to my expectations.
Since Quentin Bisch is one of my favorite perfumers, I was optimistic.
The opening starts fruity with the apricot, but not a sticky sweet apricot, rather a beautiful airy apricot that is incredibly suitable for spring and summer. As it develops, the floral notes of jasmine absolute, magnolia, and osmanthus join in, making the scent fruity-floral-fresh.
My fear that the patchouli would make the scent too green or earthy in the drydown did not come true, and combined with vanilla, it creates a beautifully rounded fragrance.
So see if you can find it and give it a sniff. I immediately secured a second bottle because I liked the scent so much.
