When it comes to Hypnotic Poison dubs, watch out ! Most smell terribly artificial, synthetic and pungent, so that one can become sick.
Guipure Silk on the other hand is a very good, not to say the best Hypnotic Poison copy. I find the perfume more wearable than the current original. It reminds me of the old Hypnotic Poison. It's soft, feminine and powdery. I smell almond and vanilla, also a little licorice. The sillage is moderate and doesn't slay you. The durability is satisfactory, that is, a working day holds out the fragrance.
I am thrilled, the price-performance ratio I feel as sensational !
Guipure & Silk I recommend to anyone who likes vanilla and oriental fragrances and who does not want to spend a fortune on a good fragrance

The sweet smell of woodruff

This is so lovely. I never tried Hypnotic Poison, so I can't compare. But this does remind me vaguely of the sweet smell of woodruff, has a smooth, round, sweet smell that is so wonderful. Two thumbs up.

A Silky Gourmand Delight

I know that this perfume is often compared to Hypnotic Poison, but I think it’s actually nicer. This smells sweeter and creamier, and like Turquoise, I think there’s enough different about it to make it unique. (Sadly, I have no experience with Habanita by Molinard, so I'm unable to comment as to any simlarity to it.)

I too primarily smell the almond and liquorice in the beginning. Later on, the musk, spices and floral notes come out nicely.

Again, a Jeanne Arthes product impresses me. I got a massive 100 ml bottle of this for £7.95. It smells and looks expensive. If you're short of money, but still want to indulge in a fragrance purchase, definitely give this one a go.

Beautiful bottle interesting juice...

At the beginning you feel the licorine combined with the sweet almond.. You can barely smell coconut.
The middle notes reveal the wonderul floral character of the perfume..
It is silky and very powdery vanillish, indeed similar to Hypnotic Poison, but still has something different that makes it exceptionally interesting

Guipure and Silk is the blend of Hypnotic Poison along with Habanita by Molinard (many common notes)! Amazing!
