Deseo for Men Jennifer Lopez 2008

Very helpful Review
Not as Round a Thing as J.Lo's Rear End
... but still absolutely solid and not bad smelling! Moreover, the bottle and the price (9€) appealed to me too much to resist. Not a bad purchase, but when the collection has now grown to well over 100, one (hopefully) has enough perfumes that surpass this one in every respect.
The scent starts simply, but deliciously. Lemon, yuzu, and cedar. Unfortunately, the red berries remain far too faint and come across no stronger than hair shampoo. Unfortunately, I was most looking forward to these in the top note. Then it becomes woodier, paired with a smoky tobacco note reminiscent of Jacomo Aura. Great for a non-smoker, but fortunately still quite subtle. The whole fragrance has a soft, slightly soapy tone, so the name DeDEO would have fit well too. Towards the end, even the usually quite powerful amber-vanilla retreats into the background. What a shame, I would have expected more courage from the extravagant lady Jenny from the Block. The perfume smells like freshly washed and then again like smoke. It is supposed to evoke a jungle atmosphere and emphasize the animalistic, masculine side. But that doesn't fit the overall, rather flimsy aura of the fragrance.
For the diamond bottle, she gets extra praise. Even though it's made of plastic, it is visually appealing. Unfortunately, it looks better in the pictures than in reality. Sillage and longevity are in the yellow range, again no flop here, but simply too inconspicuous to stand up to good competition.
For a celebrity scent, it's good - but measured against higher standards, it's hardly worth mentioning and not a recommendation, even for this bargain price!

Seems to have been discontinued. I noticed the bottle design.

Literary award for this headline, even though you’ll probably get stoned by some ladies. ;-)

Unfortunately, that's true. All the scents from the lady are nothing special, but they are still nice to look at :-)

Well, besides looking great, the lady doesn't really have much else going for her, so it makes sense :) Trophy for your courage. You really dare to take risks.

The bottle still reminds me of one of those inflatable vinyl chairs from the '90s.

All of Jennifer's fragrances smell like soap, without exception ;) Combined with smoke? Yuck... :D
