Never smelled Greenwich village so can't speak to how close it is.
However, doesn't even matter cause this is an absolute beauty. Perfectly unisex, and fantastic as a spring scent and on cooler summer days. I wouldn't wear this in high heat too much as it is pretty sweet.
The florals in this are a fantastic combo with the fruits in the opening. The black currant and lychee standout the most to me with the peony and water lily.
