Childhood Memory of the Sunny 90s
Somehow a scent that has been forgotten...
..and I thought to myself, as I was in the perfume store and walked past the Joop shelf (which I used to do repeatedly in the past..): “Come on, smell it again, even though you know it’s outdated...”. So I did, and internally I thought “please please don’t be terrible..” and I was completely catapulted back to the past. The 90s, sultry summers, and indeed childhood memories. And it smelled so familiar. I mean, we had that scent at home back then. It’s simply unmistakable.. a very special vanilla, just an old but still current and a comforting vanilla, but not a cuddly one... just familiar. It gives me a good feeling.
My love for vanilla has been rekindled......

I love it too, although I don't have any memories associated with it (rather with the equally battery acid yellow Femme that I confused it with when I bought it ;-)), but I've discovered it as one of my favorite winter scents. I also find the vanilla special and lovely.

I don't know the scent actively, but it recently took me back to my childhood while testing it. It smells so familiar somehow. I suspect an aunt used to wear it. It's really amazing what scents can trigger :)

Yes, that's true. Back then, many people wore this scent, so it often brings me back to my childhood during the summer. It's wonderful how fragrances can evoke such feelings and memories. :)

Oh yes, this one brings back childhood memories for me, and I love to smell it again and again. My mom wore it back in the 90s, and I still wear it occasionally. A little tip: if you like this scent, try **What We Do in Paris is Secret** if you get the chance.
