like a virgin to the child...
... I came to this fragrance.
Since my friend lives around the corner from Rossi, I asked her to bring me Anna Sui for an incredible 9.99, as this fragrance has accompanied me for many years and I have already repurchased it online at inflated prices.
I repeated my fragrance wish slowly and clearly several times - but today, - I was in cheerful anticipation - she presented me with Jovan White Musk.
I was astonished, as I couldn't find any resemblance in the name, no matter how hard I tried.
Well, it is what it is; one must celebrate the festivities as they come - and I do like the Jovan Oil as well.
And White Musk does its job well.
It has nothing to do with the fruity Anna Sui - much more with the Jovan Oil I know.
Musk is the dominant note in both fragrances.
However, White is drier and less creamy than the original.
The honeysuckle also adds a stricter bitterness, which does not harm the fragrance.
Elegance is the theme here - emphasized by jasmine.
The Oil leans more towards the sensually erotic direction - while white musk goes for the clean elegance.
I am not too sad about this mix-up, especially since my friend quickly declared this "surprise" as a gift.
