Émotion de Frédéric Judith Williams 2015

Since there is no comment here yet, I will try to do justice to this wonderful scent :-) (The comment refers to the fragrance by Mr. Haldimann from 2015, not the one by Ms. Williams from 2018.)
Émotion de Frédéric is Frederic Haldimann's last creation before he retired in 2015. EdF was meant to be the crowning achievement. And he was right about that.
The fragrance is an Eau de Parfum Concentree. There is only this variant.
Haldimann wanted a high fragrance concentration for his last masterpiece.
After all his beautiful creations, EdF is a scent that stands out for its powderiness.
It is powder-soft, cuddly, and very balsamic. For me, it is a soul comforter in difficult times.
I love the sweet, strong scent of Opoponax, which can be distinctly sniffed here.
What fascinates me is that the citrus notes, which are in the top note, remain present throughout the fragrance's development. I can smell them until the end, quietly peeking out again and again. This makes the scent so lively, so crispy; I hope you understand what I mean.
If EdF were a dessert, it would be a fluffy almond soufflé, topped with a creamy vanilla mousse, garnished with mandarins and lemon slices.
Unfortunately, the fragrance is no longer so easy to obtain. The bottle is rectangular, small, and handy, with golden packaging. The perfume was also available in travel-sized bottles of 10 ml. Very practical for on the go.
Anyone looking for a powdery-oriental-spicy gourmand scent should give it a try.
