Cypress Alarm! But where is the rest?
I purchased the perfume as a blind buy based on the comments for trying it out.
Unfortunately, I can't detect any of the lively summer scent.
Even the top note is woody, almost bitter, then I think I briefly smell licorice? but that's it, no trace of fruitiness or freshness, and the indicated musk in the base note is nowhere to be found. The scent develops for me into an aftershave, I had a similar experience with Un Jardin en Mediterranee, as both fragrance pyramids list cypress. Could it be that my sense of smell reacts extremely to cypress and that's why I don't perceive other scent nuances of the perfume?

Refreshing Summer Scent
A fragrance name like "Lotus Garden" immediately catches my attention. Although I have no idea what lotus smells like. I only know that lotus has a scale-like structure on its leaf and flower surfaces that prevents it from getting dirty, with water beading off to wash away even the last bit of dust. A self-cleaning effect that is utilized in surface treatments with paints and is called the "lotus effect."
A "pure" plant. I only have a vague understanding of what lotus means in Southeast Asian cultures; others may know more about it.
I also don’t know what price the fragrance "Lotus Garden" is available for; on eBay, there are only starting bid prices, which tell me nothing.
I sprayed the fragrance on and immediately found it to be a sparkling, spicy green summer scent. I particularly enjoy a certain acidity that is not citrusy. Furthermore, the fragrance becomes a bit softer, woodier, milder, and there are scent notes that I cannot identify.
But after 12 hours, I notice: The scent is still there, slightly woody, still with the same character but much quieter. The sillage at the beginning is at best moderate.
Now I have sprayed it on again after revisiting the fragrance.
It remains my first impression. A fresh, unsweetened summer scent, spicy and green, woody. Now that I read it, I can also identify a tea note. The woods had already presented themselves to me.
I believe I can categorize pomegranate as the source of the acidity. For me, mango always has a coniferous resinous taste with low sweetness.
Since cypress is also mentioned here, I cannot further differentiate that.
"Lotus Garden" is a fruity scent for me, but of the very nice kind. No squeaky sweetness. "Lotus Garden" is not sweet at all.
In my opinion, "Lotus Garden" is a successful composition. For anyone looking for and loving a refreshing, unsweetened, and non-floral, spicy summer scent. It lingers until the end, which I find very nice, without a molecule of vanilla that could make the scent arbitrary.
I can imagine "Lotus Garden" very well on hot days.
I only give it 80% because I have other summer scents that I find even more beautiful, to which I have given 90 or 100%.
I could also imagine the scent on a man, due to its woodiness and spiciness and the absence of sweetness.

Soft Green Powder
I am a home shopper. It's lovely to order from the sofa. It's always wonderful when the star designers, fashion jewels, and bling-bling jewelry divas want to sell their exclusive goods to women. And then there's always this limited quantity. It drives me crazy. Grab it quickly, or the desired item will be gone. And the super price. It won't be back on air this year. Panic sets in. A call to the studio from an enthusiastic customer on the phone. So. But now. Free shipping plus mini bottle *wink to Hasi*.
Already awake, already ordered.
And then the big moment: opening the package, firing up the test vial with trembling fingers and holding it to my nose.
Yep. I like it.
Lotus Garden starts green and fresh.
I can smell the mango note very clearly and for a long time, accompanied by a nice green fruity fig. A slight bitter note emerges, and that's pretty much how the scent remains.
The base lasts a long time on the skin and leaves a soft green powdery veil.
I’d gladly tune in again.
Only her creams can Judy keep.

An extraordinary scent, starting with a sharp, warm pepper note. Then comes cardamom. Finally, it softens with fig.
