The reviews for this make me so sad. The amount of people acting like this smells like absolute shit is insane. I get that its not everyone's jam since its so heavily gourmand but acting like it genuinely stinks is absolutely wild.

Also the amount of people all over the internet saying they only get bananas and maple syrup?? If you don't get the coconut, tiare, and musk in this, I fear you shouldn't leave reviews at all lmao

ok i smelt this in a sephora and this was the one i remembered the most, from how strange it was for me. i was actually blown away from how much it smells of banana. i only smelt banana and thats it, and not in a good way. when i opened the cap i could smell it from an arm length away... took me by surprise. JHAG has a specific profile that they are good at, i liked powder love and not a perfume. miami shake was the better gourmand but still not good. this was an incredibly dense, quite cloying, synthetic banana chewy sweet scent. i hate it in all honesty, not for me

First of all this lasts FOREVER. It opens straight into sticky caramelised banana, like banana bread soaked in maple syrup, sweet and dense and slightly browned at the edges. It’s, buttery, and rich, extremely decadent.

It projects a lot and clings for hours, the kind of scent that stays on clothes long after you’ve stopped noticing it on yourself. On my girlfriend it smells like pure gourmandy banoffee all the way through. On me I get a lot more sandalwood coming through under the sweetness, which gives it a slightly drier, woodier edge, but still absolutely delicious either way. This feels a little too heavy and warm for me to wear in summer personally, but I know it’ll be absolutely stunning in autumn when I inevitably want to smell like a cosy dessert. I’d love to pair it with something that has cinnamon or clove notes.

Breaking news: the sweet, gourmand, fruity and synthetic perfume smells just like it's described! There are so many people shocked and revolted that it smells like sweet caramelised banana instead of a clean fresh banana scent, when the latter is described nowhere...
It does in fact smell exactly like a banana fried in maple syrup if that sounds like something you'll like! It's very sweet (unsurprisingly also banana-y) and almost tropical. Reminds me of having fried bananas for breakfast in Fiji in 2008 with the smell of coconut tanning lotion and body spray lingering. Love it

Man, the notes for this one excited me so much. I've been looking for an airy version of banana, something a little floral and less fruity, and I was super excited to try this. But upon trying it initially it was nothing but....maple. Just maple syrup. Synthetic, super sweet, and somehow simultaneously bitter? It never becomes anything but synthetic maple syrup. Fleeting banana, but no coconut or frangipani. I am so disappointed!
