Masterly Oriental - olfactory-linguistic divergent
"There he goes again with his list," thought the nice saleswoman in one of the perfumeries of my confidence, when I stole myself measured step into the small establishment. "How can I help you?" she asked rhetorically as I rasped my little yellow post-it out of my backpack. "I got a list here..." "A list." She placed me, "Well, let's go over it." she smiled at me. Of all the people I told her, unfortunately none were there, too perfumoesque, too fixed and obstinate, I felt, but freed myself with a "Do you want to show me something? That was the magic set. She smiled liberated, combined my wishes in fractions of a second with what she had behind her on the shelf and sprayed "Sareef" on a strip. She told me how long and how much she had worked to get this "Kajal" series into her program and from the sympathetic perfumers who were behind it while I was already in the headscore cinema I hallucinated wonderfully dirty patchouli, silver-grey shining incense, sprinkled with bitter spices, all noble, natural origin, so much was certain for me. With the latter I would definitely be right, she assured me, but the stated ingredients deviated far from this impression. "This must be the less load-bearing accessory listed here. There's certainly a lot more to it," she smiled. Aha, that's so olfactory-linguistically divergent, I thought when she came to me with bergamot and flowers that could definitely not be spotted here. He's not fresh in the head at all!
The other treasures she presented to me all passed me by, each of them high quality and interesting, but I stuck to the Sareef ticket. She remarked, "Shall I spray this on them?" she asked, "Hm, I still have something to do today." I replied and asked the question about a bottling, knowing that there are no such things there. She smiled again and there she actually gave me the only bottling of the scent she had, from a noble little suitcase together with other samples of the manufacturer. "I'm in your debt." I beamed and goodbye with court servant. That's what I call proximity to the customer!
Today I took my time for "Sareef". The top note cinema was again the same great spectacle of noble patchouli, frankincense and spices. Rosemary is definitely there. Later I can perceive sparkling resins, I suspect mastic, rather unsweet and close to the earth, possibly the listed vetiver helps to keep them in the harsh spectrum. All this is artfully interwoven, like a fine-meshed Oriental blanket moving in slow motion in incense, through whose pores resins and spices diffuse again and again. The whole thing unfolds rather than develops. It decreases significantly after about four hours and unfortunately says goodbye to my skin already after about six hours. On my shirt, after 12 hours, it's still there like it was at the beginning. The Sillage is always moderate.
"Sareef" is an earthy, spicy, smoky, resinous Oriental of high claim.
With thanks to the nice lady in the perfumery!

A gently leathery, yet rather dusty spicy earthy-woody Mid season fragrance, with a pronounced citric spicy-green opening. Very masculine!
