Spent leather meets caramel and meadow
Wolle and his were very surprised when at the last biker meeting someone strange was waiting for them in front of the clubhouse. This someone introduced himself as Terri and was a perfumer. He heard in the far USA from Wolles Eleven because he was registered on Parfumo. So they invited him; especially since they hoped Terri was a woman. Unfortunately, the Google image search could only be used inadequately. Together with Wolle, Hotte and Udo they feverishly thought about which ingredients a fragrance could have and what it should be called. Terri wanted to create a leather scent. Of course, the cowl wearers were the right address for that. When it turned out that Terri was actually a woman, Udo in particular had to join in the drinking. He was shy and taciturn. Taciturn because he was usually so wiped out that he couldn't talk anymore.
So one always drank a Korn first, that is, a bottle of Korn, and then thought about it. One had taken to the inspiration Wollees leather belt and brainstormed now. Also wool, whose trousers now hung down, which he hardly noticed although a cool breeze whistled through his holey underwear.
"So now let's think sensibly. If we're going to use old, greasy leather like this, what are we going to do?"
"Wool, what's that funny smell of the belt? Kind of like a fair, or like everything didn't go smoothly in the kitchen."
"Yes but also like you've been playing in the meadow again and can't get the barbed grass stains out of your leather pants."
"Both are true, friends. I slipped on the wet meadow with the Beermobile, my boller wagon, and then rolled down the hill and landed right in a meadow of flowers. Now my worn leather gear smells greenish, but at the same time a little floral."
"But there's a sugar note in there, too. Did you end up in a beehive?"
"No, it was like this: I then wanted to treat myself to a caramel dessert to relax, but then switched the caramel with the beer. So some landed on my clothes when I poured it in. At the same time I had accidentally scorched myself with the lighter in fright. That's why the leather smells like sweet burnt caramel."
Dismayed silence until Terri said, "Wool! Genius! That's it! We're making a caramel leather perfume! You smell constant of this adventurous blend, the scent just gets more and more unsweet and in return greener plus some penetrating musk. Nothing else happens in many hours. That
we build as a perfume."
The men nodded except for Udo. He had long since been lying drunk, head first, in Wolle's dropped, beltless trousers.
"But Wolle, what's this Leather supposed to be called? I can hardly think straight anymore, with all the alcohol spinning around in my head."
"That's it! Vertigo Leather, a tribute to beery evenings! Vertigo Cuir!"
"Wool, my dear! This idea has tingled so nicely in my bellybuttons! Or I'm sick with beer..."
Vertigo Cuir is an interesting idea to turn bacon-y leather as a base into a completely different scent. There is of course already but just green notes must be balanced with the leather, not infrequently the result has something of parsley. This is successful here only the green notes are a bit too artificial and the caramel in combination with the musk slightly penetrating so that I have enough after several wearings in any case. Less would have been more to keep the balance. Sure, in the course that becomes more bearable but not everyone is irritated by the waiting time when the beginning is modest.
