With thanks to Knight Verbena!
For a long time I have not written a comment (yes comment and not review!) More and am probably a bit rusty. But rusty and knight fits somehow. The armor must have squeaked at some point, but maybe it was supposed to when the iron knight stood at the moat and bawled a minne with the lute of his fair maiden and waved green herb. I digress, but perhaps this is also because verbena, in its cool and creaky way, ensures that the scent is not too much of a pleasure. Carrot in excess can degenerate into sweet dull earthy and also powdery smell. Which is not the case here.
In the spring, we (my daughter and I) sowed carrots (tri-color: purple, yellow and orange) in her garden. These have merely sprouted into the herbaceous. At least the herbaceous scent from the carrot greens resonates here. The alleged carrots were as tiny as my little finger and marauding voles have laughed themselves slack.
Angelica (angelica) floats in as a topping. The spiced angel has earned his name and also shines not exactly with golden curly hair and cotton candy kisses. Sometimes he is a bit bitter, but does not turn here in this direction, but ensures that yes no sweetness arises.
Green freshness. Almost lemon sorbet! Makes itself at a summer garden party with champagne very well. Only times so incidentally as a secret tip ;-)
The sweetheart I got in July for my birthday and I have him only briefly angetestet and paid no further attention. I had other worries......
The little carrot is not for frostbite and even less for sweet tooths. Spring and summer is its destiny. Now it's getting cold and there you could quietly send him into hibernation, unless an Eskimo comes along who is just on the green trail.
L'Occitane is a secret tip of mine. A niche company that swims along on no wave. Means: no sweet Kariestoffies and no stinkers.
I hope that remains so.
