Isch 'abe no car at all!
To get in the mood, we all call to mind the look at this sentence. Because the fragrance is also a charmer! But before we fully turn to the geographical region given by the title, we quickly work through two others: The anise is more "coastal fog" than "ouzo" - it's cuter. And more pleasing, not so boozy on the head hit. Our anise floats on a kind of waxy-creamy sandal note, gently and completely infertile acidified by Meinetwegen bergamot. Even ambrosia seems conceivable to me. An early appearance of popcorn probably refers to incense (see below). So far, it's all slipping casually. Charming and Italian, somehow. At least in my northern German imagination. Hence the title.

Only a trace of canned milk opens the game with me seriously, so to speak. But it's a good way to tame the temper. Within a short period of time, especially mild, woody notes emerge from the sandal theme. In contrast, little more than a memory remains of the aniseed.

The performance of 'Rocca della Signoria' is now close to 'Mythical Woods', the form of sandelia that, turned to extremes, leads to 'Black Afgano'. Today, however, we do not go that far in the least, we stick to a relatively airy, yet creamy, sandal vanilla scent with a waxy swab; similarities to what has already been said are by no means coincidental.

The incense is rather an inkling or principle than a concrete component that can be scented. I therefore perceive it much more reservedly than the previous speaker Kovex does (by the way, also the noble donor of the sample - thank you very much!). I would also like to emphasize the bright, here almost whitish-dusty aspects that stand out from the creamy background.

In the afternoon, a strange mixture of undoubtedly woody behaviour on the one hand and a vanilla and sugary sweetness on the other, as it sometimes runs under "amber", comes along. Again it is of course wonderfully creamy and yet of a certain transparency, even airiness. Towards the evening we gradually glide into a solistically sandal vanilla conclusion that is as predictable as it is pleasant and successful.

Conclusion: Not completely my thing, but a top tip for friends of solid cream fragrances. Italian creamy and elegant as well as - I agree - perfectly wearable by gentlemen.

a deserved revenge
If you read my comment about Prada's "Infusion de Mimosa", you will remember how I "suffered" under the dominance of star anise in this fragrance.
Resentful as I am (yes, unfortunately this is sometimes the case!), I meet star anise here, with this wonderful scent of "La Collina Toscana", which only plays a relatively small role - how gratifying!

For me, an Italian lover who was really thrown into the "wrong chimney" here in Germany, the name of the company first aroused my interest: the Tuscan Hill!
Luckily, Tuscany is so wonderfully hilly that an association immediately arose and so the wish arose: you absolutely have to test this scent.

"La Rocca della Signoria":
The Signoria was the government of many Italian city-states; there are not many cities that hold their own that do not have a "Piazza della Signoria".
Mostly you can find them in the heart of the city and there also the old government palaces.
Only the Venetians once again fall outside the scope: their city administration sat in the procutatias!
These regulated the pulse of this city from the Piazza San Marco.
If now a castle, which was used by the city government, stands for this sonorous name, then it concerns surely an extremely impressive building.

Star anise has been banished here among the "foot people"; for me a bright, surprisingly soft, but not powerless incense dominates the first impression!
"Blond incense" is what I called this phenomenon elsewhere.
This one here is not dark, spicy to scratchy, but a bright center around which everything else is ranked.
Somehow this incense reminds me of a light birch avenue; a slight shimmer is in the air, caused by the constantly moving small leaves.
Bergamot escorts the "civilized" star anise here; it emits light here that this jagger cannot negatively affect.
I like this entrance very much. This highlights the friendliness of this incense.
Even so, the darkness, which may stimulate the nasal eye in conjunction with incense, is transformed into a fragrant, moving, very vivid light.
An extremely cleverly composed basis opens something very special to capricious beings like me: an all around velvety deep wood note that makes the soul smile.
Quite dark woods, unfortunately I cannot call them, form the prelude. I imagine it in the form of a very tastefully laid wooden floor.
Already they marry themselves with the incense-bergamot-star anise mix, flatter it!
They steam easily without crushing!
The spiciness of cedar wood is heard; it becomes a longer lecture. Because the cedarwood nuance remains, at least with me, a faithful companion until the end.
Good thing I'm not a moth, then I'd have to run! So I may linger, because a rich sandalwood gift and the delightful glow of patchouli, complete this fragrance!

All in all, "Rocca della Signoria" gives you the feeling of a pleasant walk: I stroll through light but still fragrant woods, with a view of harmonious hills and wide fertile plains.
From time to time a bench at the edge of the forest invites you to linger and just look - it's a feel-good scent!

That's why it's especially nice that he settles down for a long time and that the fragrance becomes even more harmonious, softer and more radiant over the hours. He radiates from the depth!
Here I encounter a fragrance that delights women and is certainly indispensable on men's skin.
It would be worth a try: who knows, which seductive result results from it.

This fragrance sample will certainly accompany me for some time; because my newly discovered passion for everything with the name "incense", can use a blond companion from time to time quite well!
The deep, dark, demon-like scent wafts are sometimes just too powerful!
How nice it is that incense can be found in so many different shades, creating a wide range of individual fragrances!
Thank you, dear friend, for this bottling and the pleasure it brings.
