This gives me not only a bottle and packaging that have been beautifully executed, but also the scent.
I was close to getting the original, which unfortunately only lasted 2 hours on me. I was willing to accept that, and then I was heard. Suddenly, this beautiful La Rive hit the market. 3 sprays accompany me for a good five hours, during which I can clearly perceive the scent myself; after that, it lingers softly on my skin for another 2 hours. For this price, I think that's really great.
Once sprayed, I immediately notice flowers of all kinds (I can't pinpoint exactly which ones) and delicate red berries that bring a hint of fruitiness. Luckily... Because I tend to shy away from too much fruit and berries. Here, however, the flowers and blossoms dominate, which also wonderfully receive a slight boost of sweetness from a pinch of brown sugar. But just enough so that the scent remains balanced and doesn't drift into cloying sweetness. The patchouli adds a little fresh kick, and everything harmonizes beautifully together.
I can't complain about the sprayer either; it does what it's supposed to do, and it does it well :)
