The beginning very pleasant with pear without the otherwise for La Rive typical hairspray scent as a start. Black currant I did not smell. Further then with iris and jasmine. With the pear a successful thing. The finish then with patchouli and a hint of vanilla, though the vanilla doesn't dominate. Don't like smelling like Christmas cookies. All together a balanced and round thing where I am pleasantly surprised by. Durability also above average long.
Similarity to LveB is striking, no even better and more balanced than the original. A similarity to Queen of Live I smell only in traces. The fragrance says to me namely not so to.
Bottom line, it is a question of quality and price. Is sold but La Rive in drugstores for 6 euros per 100 ml, so you pay at Netto but for 5 euros for only 50ml. But the 50ml are worth it, because they are much better.
