Well balanced everyday scent
I received Music of Mountains as a gift — I probably wouldn’t have picked it myself based on the description or even after sampling it in a discovery set. It just seemed a bit boring at first. Nutmeg, lavender, vetiver — nothing too exciting.
But once I started wearing it, I was surprised by how well-balanced and pleasant it is. I don’t get any gourmand sweetness from the cinnamon. Nutmeg takes the lead, its sharpness softened by pine and a subtle touch of lavender. The listed incense is very mild too, without any strong churchy vibe.
It reminds me a bit of Comme des Garçons Comme des Garçons, but it’s less spicy.
Overall, it’s a solid everyday scent — works well for the office, casual walks, and suits both men and women. A reliable fragrance with a calm personality.
