Fine, then no more, then again
Just sprayed and first thought: oh, that smells not as nice as just when I sniffed the bottle. So first been a little disappointed. The smell had something that bothered me a bit. Now, so after 30 min about he smells but again quite good and strikes me but positive. A mixture of powdery and "freshly washed" is meets vanilla and "woody" notes, plus a slight sweetness mixed with flowers (roses). So in the end result, I like it quite a bit. What annoys me with the Tresor perfumes something, is that I that one can distinguish so badly, which one has the now if one has got it e.g. as a gift or after an eternity rebuy may. With this model, for example, there is already some danger of confusion if one is not quite so deep in the matter inside. The name to mark completely or they bottle but something different to design would be my wish

A lady with green ears
For a long time I thought that this minimally lighter "Trésor", which I (or my girlfriend) had placed next to a thick bottle of the original, was only a smaller edition of it. Until I tested them both extensively, carried them and put them next to each other and could clearly sniff them out - this is a new, completely different version, a Flanker! Zack, read under the bottle: "L'Eau de Parfum Lumineuse"... Not so easy to distinguish these many "trésore", especially without outer packaging...

"Trésor Lumineuse", as I will abbreviate his name, remains true to his mother's scent, but uses new facets, refinements and colours. The basis is still a delicate hint of musk+vanilla, but the foreground has been more clearly adapted to today's times, sweetened and staged crisper, more lively. The roses look green rather than red, sprouting on a wet and cold meadow in the sunshine. In addition, there is a woody-praline fruitiness in purple tones and quite the one or other (synthetic) pricking sting more than before. You have to like that, so this "Trésor" is less cuddly, but more agile and lively and younger, naive and youthful. Also somewhat more transparent and sparkling, matching the name. I even like him almost more than his role model and mother ship. He has a cheeky glow on his face and still wears an evening gown. Maybe nothing underneath. And it invites you to also take a closer look at the many other vaults...

Flacon: as beautiful and shiny as the original!
Durability: as long and productive as the original - 8-9 hours!
Sillage: a little softer and lighter than the original.

Conclusion: a great facelift for "Tresor" without completely losing the character and soul of the original. Very noble and yet everyday enough. Brilliant, indeed.

Very light musky praliné rose
Lancôme's "Trésor" is a classic - one of these powerful florals created by the great Sophia Grojsman in 1990, a peachy rose on a woody and vanillic base with a strong sillage. The latest flanker called "Eau de parfum Lumineuse" has no sillage at all. It stays very close to the skin. All I get out of it is a musky praliné note with some rosy overtones. The advertising blurp on my sample tells me: "a new olfactory signature created by one of the great Fench masters perfumers, as the fresh and delicious imprint of a kiss". The master perfumer is Dominique Ropion - but this is by no means his new masterpiece. Roja Dove once said, "Never believe the advertising of a perfume. It is always a lie." (Would he exclude his own advertising here?). The new "Trésor Luminuese" is no "new olfactory siganture" but an attempt at making "Trésor" more accessible for a younger audience who has been brought up with light, flowery-fruity scents. The praliné note is not in the least new either, it simply adds a gourmandy touch. Perfumers have returned to the "gourmandy rose theme" countless times, but this new attempt is just average. I'd be keen on hearing Sophia Grosjman's opinion on this flanker.
