Fluffy powder dreams on a budget

What a gorgeous, feminine powder puff. It starts out clean with a fluffy white musk and soft flowers, but turns sweet and vanillic quickly. There is a hint of that "nostalgic vanilla scented plastic toy for girls" note in this, but for some reason it comes across much more elegant and grown-up than this kind of scent usually does. Maybe because it's so powdery and devoid of any fruity or too literal gourmand notes? It also has a waxy, borderline dry tonka base that really anchors the fluffiness of the scent and adds depth. Saffron is not a dominant note here, just a mysterious, warm and spicy background hum, but in my opinion it's still important for the composition. It sets off the sweetness so nicely.

I find the blend quite unique. Lattafa makes some dupe fragrances, but I don't think this is one of them. Even though there are many perfumes that lean into the same general direction, I can't think of one that smells exactly like Ana Abiyedh Poudrée. Celine Black Tie has lots of votes as similar, but to me, Ana Abiyedh Poudrée comes across more robust and powerful and a bit sweeter.

It also smells more expensive than it is, if I tried this blindly I never would have guessed that a bottle was available for 25€ or less.

Absolut kein Dupe!

Ich habe dieses "Parfum" nach dem ich mir wirklich viele Bewertungen durchgelesen habe, mit viiieeel Zuversicht bestellt.

Teilweise wird hier sogar der Vergleich zum bekannten RN Parfüm gezogen.

Ich bin bei Gott keine ausgebildete Parfumeurin,aber dieses Poudree hier ist meiner Meinung nach 100% synthetisch hergestellt und genau so riecht es auch.
Es erinnert mich extrem an den EIER LECITIN SCHAMPOO Geruch von Schauma (aus den 90ern).
Cremig,vanillig für mich leider einfach zu künstlich und zu bappig.

Für all die jenigen,die synthetische Düfte von echten Duftnoten unterscheiden können und nur diese schätzen,wird dieses Poudree hier wahrscheinlich nicht wirklich interressant sein.

The perks of having a bad memory are pretty scarce, yet, they exist.

You go by life erasing superficial trauma, toxic memories and situations, what have you. Thats good of course.

But forgetting about having something so good and so dear and then bumping into it has to be the PERK of perks.

I was just going about my day when suddenly i have to leave the house for errands (which i had completely forgotten about) on a rainy day. I open my frag cabinet and by chance, i move a fragrance away and i spot my Ana Abiyeds, all four of them.

And there she is. Ana Abiyedh Poudrée .

“Certainly it hasnt got any prettier - i know far too many fragrances now to keep considering this one of the most endearing scents in my collection.” - i think

Two sprays.

She is prettier than ever.

The musk, the vanilla, the violet/powder/caramel/heliotrope facets. For f-ck sake. This costs 16€. I have the real Black Tie - its
just as pretty. They are alike just as tangerine and clementine are. Neither win, both divine. But this wins in accessibility.

Please, dont talk. Dont think. Get it. Enjoy.

The longing for something "beautiful" in my dreary everyday desk life

Too much to say for a statement, so here's my first review :)

Bought because hyped, afterwards quite disappointed. Have smelled at the beginning especially alcohol and plastic. Have the bottle then let stand for a few months, tried again and lo and behold... the scent is ENORMOUS post-matured.

Meanwhile, he smells very round, full and so finely tuned to each other that I could hardly make out a fragrance component in detail. The oud I smell (fortunately) not at all! Rosy-floral also not really...

For me describes him most likely the following:
A Dry Musk Vanilla. "Make-up powder" with a scent that could not be better, which is why you would like to tap your entire body with the fluffiest powder puff.

Despite that I now find great pleasure in this fragrance I notice that I do not put it on so often. Somehow hardly a real occasion is found, where it must be necessarily this..
However, I sit more often times at my desk, work before me and it comes up the longing for "something beautiful" in me. Then I spray Ana Abiyedh Poudree in the crook of my arm and bury my nose. It defnitively triggers something very good in me. "Security!"

A floral-powdery vanilla dream

So now it's official: powdery clean fragrances have become my thing since Parfumo.
Even though I'm usually more into "loud" fragrances, the Ana Abiyedh Poudrée has really done it to me again. Something in it triggers a strong craving in me. Already more than convinced by Pure Musk, this treasure came sneaking around the corner and what can I say? The excitement was so great that I had to order the bottle in the very next breath.

Now to the fragrance itself:
For me, it simply represents femininity and cleanliness in a bottle. Just imagine the cleanest, powderiest and softest fragrance you know, with a light floral note from a little rose, a delicate hint of spice from the saffron and a harmonious/not too sweet vanilla with a little caramel. Ana Abiyedh Poudrée is simply enchantingly coordinated. It is not too much and not too little and preferably a perfect linear everyday fragrance for every season and situation. Unfortunately, I don't know whether it has the aforementioned similarity to Black Tie. But for less than €20.00, you can expect it to last for around 6-8 hours and the sillage is definitely strong enough to be perceived very positively by those around you.

A real beauty that has finally made it into my perfume collection.
