The Garden of Eden
The first note of the "Second Song" is a mix of pear and apple, fresh and crisp and incredibly aromatic (in a fruity way). Bergamot is incredibly tame and gentle, I think it creates the green apple-like accord. The opening is simply addictive. I see summer sunshine in its bright and uplifting tune.
Peony and praline are a beautiful duo, expanding and deepening the floral facet of the composition, adding an incredibly soft spiciness to the sweetness of fruity florals and re-creating an elegant signature aroma of the pink peony. I feel as if I am holding the luscious bouquet of perfect pink blooms and have my face buried in them, inhaling over and over, and unable to get enough of perfumed air into my lungs. I am such a child when it comes to flowers, LOL!
More citrus zest starts coming through in the heart of the perfume and creating a golden-yellow sheen on the pink and waxy white petals of peonies and pear blossoms. I can still hear the crisp apple in the midst of all this floral indulgence and a glimpse of an almond occasionally. I think I am being carried away by all these spring-summer vibes and am "seeing" all sorts of things.
A warm whiff of vanilla and tonka swirls in, adding cloud-like impression and further unveiling the heart notes of the fragrance. By now I am in ecstasy, even though today is particularly grey and windy-wet, but I am in another world, where the sun is shining, trees are in blossom and most opulent and fragrant blooms and florets are carpeting the ground under my feet.
White musk anchors the whole the composition in a classic and immaculate manner. Drydown is fluid and graceful, no sharp drops or edges, just the petals dancing on a light breeze, dreamy and delicate, floating away with my dreams...
This perfume may be Angham's "Second Song", but to me it is the “Song of Spring” by Kinuko Y. Craft, with angel walking through a flower-covered meadow, celebrating the season of rebirth, love and its fruits.

Fruity, Floral and Fab
Opening: Strong, fruity floral that's well blended.

At the opening I got this rich creamy vibe which is most likely a heavy dose of the vanilla; reminiscent to a creamy coconut that I wasn't expecting. There's also a nice back end of citrus that accented the pear blossom at the opening but I don't get much of it at the drydown. The actual pear note in the pear blossom is pretty dominant. I'm convinced their pear blossom extract has an extra kick of the pear fruit itself to make it less floral.

The other florals in here are powdery and loud in a good way. They don't take over the fragrance and are well balanced in the mix. They don't smell like potpourri or artificial floral bathroom spray. The musk isn't musky either; it's giving the aroma additional body.

Overall, this is an adult aroma (not overly mature by any means), strong, elegant, and full bodied. It's more fruity-floral vs floral-fruity if you're worried about being hit with a complete floral bomb. It's like a rich vanilla pear topped with a good dose of rich powdery florals. If you're looking for something that's more intimate, powdery and light, this isn't it. This very much makes it's presence known. Pretty fabulous.

No Great Love for Flowers
Sometimes things turn out differently than expected.
I was extremely looking forward to the release of this Lattafa fragrance. It was hyped everywhere and praised in the highest terms. The notes sound great, I had high expectations,

... which, as you can guess from this introductory text, were unfortunately not met.

Angham Second Song is nice, pleasant, it doesn't stand out negatively and might be a good choice for some. I find the composition not entirely successful.
The fragrance starts off very floral, although I miss the bergamot. It is at least not as pronounced as hoped. Somehow it then transitions into a gentle creaminess, which is not unpleasant but admittedly a bit boring.
And in my nose, that's it. The fragrance is nothing special; there are numerous creamy floral scents that perform better because they have more depth or more zest.
This one is "nice"

Spring Can Come
Angham Second Song starts off very fruity and sweet. You can clearly smell the pear and bergamot. As it develops, it becomes creamy and softer. The vanilla harmonizes wonderfully with the orange blossom, making the scent a little soul soother for me. Longevity/siage is very good for me; sprayed in the morning (6 AM), I can still clearly perceive it on my skin in the evening (8 PM), and on clothing, it smells as if it has just been sprayed.
Angham Second Song fits wonderfully into spring for me and smells like rays of sunshine to spray.

fluffy sweet pear cream
Really, it smells like sweet fluffy stuff.
But I like it! Quite strangely, sweet scents are not usually my thing. Right now, I really enjoy Angham Second Song.

We have a great sweet pear cream here, but I also smell peach or apricot, floral notes are only subtle. Really mainly this pear cream, which I like so much. At the beginning, I get slightly synthetic vibes, a bit like hairspray or even children's shampoo. However, in the drydown, it becomes creamier, with musk playing the main role.

It definitely reminds me of My Devotion, but I like it better. However, I don't smell any similarity to The Kingdom for Women. At least not in the way some people describe it, almost 1:1.

The sillage is extremely strong at first (unfortunately great). It then becomes softer but remains present for several hours, as does the longevity. Incredibly nice for spring, it could be too much in summer.

I'm still not sure if I need the bottle here. As described, this is actually not my thing. For now, I'll enjoy the decant.

For me, it's a peach explosion. Pear? I'm super confused. Smells like peach shampoo or shower gel.

First sweet pear blossom, but it quickly fades and the scent becomes very soapy. Nothing special.

Wow, I can't tell it apart from the OG. Beautiful bottle, unbeatable price-performance. Sweet, refined pear blossom.

I don't understand the good reviews. Smells very boring, could be a scent from the drugstore. A bit of sweetness wouldn't hurt.

I don't understand the hype. For me, it's unfortunately an unbalanced scent. Something just bothers me, but I can't quite put my finger on it.
