Opening: Strong, fruity floral that's well blended.
At the opening I got this rich creamy vibe which is most likely a heavy dose of the vanilla; reminiscent to a creamy coconut that I wasn't expecting. There's also a nice back end of citrus that accented the pear blossom at the opening but I don't get much of it at the drydown. The actual pear note in the pear blossom is pretty dominant. I'm convinced their pear blossom extract has an extra kick of the pear fruit itself to make it less floral.
The other florals in here are powdery and loud in a good way. They don't take over the fragrance and are well balanced in the mix. They don't smell like potpourri or artificial floral bathroom spray. The musk isn't musky either; it's giving the aroma additional body.
Overall, this is an adult aroma (not overly mature by any means), strong, elegant, and full bodied. It's more fruity-floral vs floral-fruity if you're worried about being hit with a complete floral bomb. It's like a rich vanilla pear topped with a good dose of rich powdery florals. If you're looking for something that's more intimate, powdery and light, this isn't it. This very much makes it's presence known. Pretty fabulous.
