Not at all what I expected

I love banana candy and just about any banana flavored desert so I thought this would be perfect for me. However it’s not that bright sweet flavor of a banana laffy taffy or even the creaminess of a banana flavored pudding. This smells more like a banana coconut scented suntan lotion. No creamy vanilla. No caramel. No cookie or praline. It’s not disgusting but nothing like the regular eclair’s delicious creaminess.
It was very strong and lasted a long time both on skin and fabric so I’m hoping this will layer nicely with vanilla scents to produce something like the caramely dessert confection the notes lead me to believe it was. I won’t throw it out but I kind of wish I hadn’t bought it.

Extremely banana forward

I knew this was a banana scent, but I wasn't expecting the almost pure banana scent that I get on my skin. It does mellow down a bit after a while, but it's still quite strong. I don't get very much vanilla in it, nor an overly strong baked goods scent either, it really is just pretty much pure concentrated banana to me

Delicious!

I want to eat the dessert that smells exactly like that. Yes, I don't smell natural bananas but I'm happy with it. The bottle is beautiful too! The price is good. I tested it yesterday in Notino and it exceeded my expectations. I didn't buy it although I thought about it. If I do, I'll update the review. What stopped me from buying it was the fact that I liked the way Lattafa Give Me Gourmand Vanilla Freak smells a little more and I liked the way it looks a lot more. I didn't buy this one either, because I thought that I already have delicious perfumes in my collection, that I have perfumes that I've just started and perfumes that I haven't started. I thought that no one guarantees that I'll live long enough to fully enjoy all my perfumes. A big fight broke out inside me. My feet hurt from thinking about and analyzing the perfumes in Notino. Of course, I liked several and ended up not buying any. I thought I would buy online or go back to the mall. I'm still undecided.

Interesting...

A sweet and creamy banana scent reminiscent of banana laffy taffy with a hint of caramel…at least on the dry down. After just a few minutes, the creaminess wears off significantly and the banana note turns a bit…sour? It’s much more tolerable than in Hazel Split which smells like a 2 week old frozen banana, but it’s still a bit off putting. I don’t get any praline, biscuit, or musk. Also just a heads up that neither this nor Eclaire Pistache smell anything like the original Eclaire . Has moderate sillage and lasts all day.

Banana Laffy Taffy

Initial Spray:
Very sweet. Gourmand. Youthful. Moderately strong projection. Very much candied Banana Laffy Taffy forward.
- I was expecting a dense gourmand fragrance but it's very much a fun candy banana scent. Biscuit and Dulche De Leche note not readily apparent. A generic sweet and warm note (possibly the praline) at the bottom with a lighter vanilla & musk. Musk makes this a twinge denser.
- Hint of a light floral...could be chemical properties in the banana

Dry Down 7+ hrs: Smoother and much creamier candied laffy taffy. Hint of vanilla but candy banana dominate. Biscuit and praline note not detectable and just adds an overall complexity so it's not just a linear banana cream candy aroma.

Sweet, playful, and youthful. Subtle floral note no longer detected. A fun aroma to layer with something else or wear on its own for a switch up and good vibes.
