A bad clone of Musk Mood from the same brand

Not only Musk Mood from Lattafa will smell particularly similar but much better in depth, performance and complexity. You can get Musk Mood for half the price. Musk Mood is how Yara was supposed to smell like but I guess they knew they had something similar and decided to change some notes and put it in a different bottle and name it YARA. Very weak cheap smelling fragrance. If you like it the slightest then save your money and buy Musk Mood from the same brand.

The weakest link in the Yara collection

I'm a big fan of Yara and I enjoy all the listed notes for Yara Moi, so I was pretty sure I would love it. Now that I finally tried it, I'm sad to report that I don't.

This doesn't have the same creamy-fresh DNA as its pink sister, and the lovely notes are all a bit undefined. To be more precise, the patchouli in this feels a bit spikey and musty, and the peach, jasmine and caramel are too light to counter it. They're not undetectable, but they feel shallow, without depth or power.
The drydown after a few hours is better. At this point the patch has mellowed out enough to let the caramel shine a little, so the scent profile turns sweeter and smoother. It's pleasant at this point, but nothing to write home about.

All in all, this is on the same level as your average lower shelf drugstore release. At least to my nose. Both the original pink Yara and the newest mango-scented Yara Tous are miles ahead, though the pink one is definitely my favorite out of them all.

I compared the two

I went over the Yara fragrance vs the Yara Moi and originally thought that this was the better fragrance, but then I realized that this is not for me but a female. In this I think a man can pull it off because it's more unisex than the original Yara. It's made more for a mature lady , a business lady and I think that is why the ratings is so low. So in short in you want the more feminine version get the original, but if you want a very mature fragrance get this.
