This fragrance deserves more than a quick statement during lunch break, so here are my impressions.

Eau Noble starts off citrusy, with lemons and oranges wafting into my nose, but without that sour note that makes one sneeze. Rather spicy and underlined with a barely resinous sweetness. Galbanum adds a bittersweet touch. Shortly thereafter, it becomes greener and more aromatic, blooming a little, though I can't really name the varieties. I can perceive the sage in between; it gives a herbaceous green note that I quite like. Eau Noble lingers for a while before oak moss and musk join in to herald the base. And now I wonder, is oak moss really still being used? Or is there now an "oak moss substitute"? Not that I have anything against oak moss; quite the opposite, one would have to ban life if one wanted to eradicate allergies. Nuts can be deadly for some allergy sufferers, yet they still exist (for now, who knows).

Eau Noble is not classified as a Chypre, but for me, it belongs in that category: Aromatic Chypre. No wonder I find this fragrance exceptionally beautiful as an old Chypre enthusiast.

Eau Noble is unisex, with medium to weak longevity and sillage; the sillage quickly retreats to "close to the skin," which I regret a little. From spring to autumn, this water is a good companion.

The scent is classic, with something fragile yet very elegant about it. "Noble little water," a worthy name. The reader can tell I am quite enchanted and will enthusiastically empty my decant. And then, a bottle... we'll see...
