Welcome to antique shop!

Patchouli is one of my favourite notes. The darker and earty it is, the more it attracts me. The vintage vibe makes me feel good.

Everyone describes patchouli as chocolaty, in a way maybe but you will imagine not a milky chocolate, it's more like %90+ bitter chocolate vibe. It tastes almost like earth in a good way.

So if you want to smell like a vintage antique shop with covered wooden furnitures, a record plays somewhere in it quietly, full of memories and dust... This may be what you are looking for.

Patchouli Antique opens with a very earthy patchouli and incense. Little bit vanilla and amber eventually is starting to show itself. Vanilla is not so sweet my taste. But I'd say it would have been better if there hadn't been any or was swapped out for something less sweet. Overall it’s a great patchouli with an artistic approach. Perfectly unisex. For this qulity price is also very good. But as I always say, sample before buy.

It is still early, the night mists linger over almost autumnal fields; some of their wisps have even strayed among the tall old trees of the still-sleeping forest.
The first timid rays of sunlight get lost in its deep silence.
Thus, light and mood in this moment stand as a tribute to the painter Caspar David Friedrich.

As is well known, I love patchouli scents: the deeper and earthier, the spicier the better!
So, of course, I couldn't pass by "Patchouli Antique" by Les Néréides.
That's good, because I would have missed out on a wonderful fragrance experience.

Frankincense floats in almost sacred beauty like the morning mists over this fragrance picture.
Soft and pleasantly smoky, opening the soul and senses, it leads into the depths of earthy and damp patchouli tones: so dark brown veined with gold and viscous they are; in almost reverent calm, this fragrance stream flows through the entire composition.
The tall slender trunks of Texas cedar surround like the pillars of a fragrance dome and offer a felt protective space; generously releasing their spicy woody scent into the early morning air.
This is also done by the stack of oak wood piled up for transport.
Primal nature and a feeling of eternity spread out; time seems to stand still here at this "Patchouli Antique" fragrance spot and invites one to linger.
A hint of the first mushrooms is already in the air, autumn is slowly approaching; the resinous beauty of benzoin deepens this feeling even more.
As the first rays of sunlight penetrate through the trees with long light fingers, golden amber sparkles and the warming power of vanilla enter the clearing of the forest fragrance temple.
They harmoniously round off this fragrance gem and open an imaginary door to light and warmth!
A new fragrant day has just been born and "Patchouli Antique" is there as a witness!

Of course, this fragrance creation consists only of spicy wood and earth tones, skillfully blended and thus condensed into a pleasantly deep dark fragrance picture.
But those who perceive "Patchouli Antique" only this way will miss the true beauty, the feeling for nature with its secrets and its eternal cycle.
But the extraordinarily long-lasting nature of this fragrance fortunately opens up the possibility to look deeper and take the time to linger and feel.

The morning of a new day has now emerged from the night; it has sorted itself and is developing into something special thanks to "Patchouli Antique": a moment of silence and security deep in the fragrance.
