The scent of an ice queen

Ice cold clean air, the snowflakes that have just fallen to the ground are like white crystalline powder. Breathing feels mentholated, eyelashes are covered with frozen snowflakes.

The frozen flowers in the garden begin to thaw. The scent of the petals mingles with the icy water. It’s like dewy Roses, White Violet and Heliotrope. The snowflakes are melting on your eyelashes. There is a subtle sweetness it the air.

The weather gets warmer, the water begins to evaporate as the spring sun warms and the air softens. The flower petals dry and crumble into a silky soft baby blue powder which covers slowly your feet. The air is gentle, pure and fresh, it’s still cool but not icy and mentholated anymore.

Rose des Neiges is a dreamy and fairytale like perfume. It’s like the scent of an ice queen, curls of hair full of stardust and powder snow scented with flowers.

This is how it smells.

This is very unique powdery perfume and as with all Rosines, Ambroxan doesn’t bother me at all and doesn’t bring any unpleasant synthetic aroma.

Thank you for reading, I hope you liked my review and it was helpful.

Rose Encased in Winter Powder
Unfortunately, unfortunately, Rose des Neiges has not been received very well so far. However, since I find it so beautiful, I really must defend it... This is, of course, highly subjective!

Nicolas Bonneville has truly succeeded in realizing the fragrance idea I had in mind with Rose des Neiges: Despite fresh-citrusy, blooming bright nuances, it is a scent that seems to be truly at home in winter. It begins, as my predecessor has already described, with a minty note, and the mandarin is also clearly detectable. And yes - "frosted." The olfactory impression arises in my imagination because it is not a juicy-fresh fruit note, but rather a distorted, simultaneously familiar, yet irritably intriguing scent note. One could indeed criticize the artificial note here - I, however, do not do that at all, as I find the introduction to the association of a glaringly bright landscape more than successful. Unmistakably, rose follows, not a heavy, dark one, but a very delicate, girlish, and here almost inorganic fantasy flower - at this point, the frost landscape connects with the most wonderful cream dream I can imagine in this context. "White" here, beyond the icy nuances, acquires a very beautiful intimate note. By the way, I recognize a similarity to Cacharel's Noa - just with a lot of rose. Thus, the scent also remains on the skin, yet without losing the citrusy nuances... I perceive it as very feminine, rather youthful, optimistic, and - and I particularly like this - very calm. The fascination of a white snowy landscape, associated with this cozy-uncanny, deep, and dazzlingly bright silence, radiates from this scent as well. This is why I am seriously considering a purchase, as I find it, despite its pleasantness, to be very poetic...

Floral-powdery cream scent dream! Not overly original, but still beautifully composed. Highly recommend testing!

A soft, poetic winter fairy tale in delicate powder. The rose is not too sweet, but light and airy like snowflakes.

Dusting itself with plenty of powder, the delicate snow rose sets off. Innocent + white meets a violet. Creamy + too synthetic.

Soul soother in pastel; neither melon nor lychee, but iris to the powdery rose, fluffy musk-Ambroxan clouds: dreamily beautiful!

It goes in the direction of Teint des Neige, heavy-powdery, sweet, sillage monster, I have to wash it off. There are really prettier roses out there..

I like the bright, powdery floral cloud.

Delicate little rose. Not too vibrant, as I only notice the fruits at the beginning. Combined with heliotrope, it quickly becomes powdery-fluffy.

Bright, creamy rose
nicely powdered
I still smell a bit of heliotrope and creamy violet
takes on a rather artificial note.

Top note - fruity - synthetic = not for me
once it's settled, it's quite okay - I'm specifically not saying "nice"
Base - violet, powdery - slightly woody.

Unfortunately, it reminds me of various toilet cleaning products...the scent feels very heavy and absolutely cheap to me.
