No, I don't want to drink the foam from your tea!!! Ewwwww!!!!
Hey hey, today I'm trying out a tea scent again. But hey, I haven't introduced a tea fragrance in a while, have I? The last one was surely several weeks ago (I think it was the new Hermès scent Eau de Citron Noir).
Especially since I recently watched various tea ceremonies and preparation methods on YouTube (or read about them on Wikipedia), I felt like tea and tea scents again. Anyway, there are endless ways to prepare tea in the many different cultures. It's interesting to see or read about... but... there is one thing I would never do: drink tea from street vendors in Mauritania or in countries with similar tea cultures... not that the tea would be bad (green tea, usually refined with mint sounds great!!), but for the Mauritanians, the foam in the tea is extremely important. To avoid having to recreate it constantly, the foam that is created once is kept in the glass... so far so good! While this is not a problem when invited by a host, since everyone would have their own glass, this foam is kept in the glass for street vendors the whole time...
...and of course for the next and the following customers!!!! The glasses are not rinsed or anything, but simply refilled. You can call me spoiled now, but I find that sooooo gross!!! Sharing a glass with someone is one thing, but sharing the foam of a liquid with strangers, from which who knows how many people have already slurped and drooled... no no, I'm a bit sensitive about that!! :DD
This is not much different in some aspects in villages from my culture (Turkey) either: bowls of Ayran or Cacik are passed around, where everyone drinks from the same bowl... buuuaaah, that's really not for me, feel free to call me spoiled, but no no no.... :DD
Anyway, now I finally come to the scent!
The roses are, in my opinion, only very faintly present, so that they are soon hardly noticeable, as the bitter notes are stronger.
A very light sweetness then emerges, but at first, it's still hard to determine whether this sweetness comes from jasmine, amber, or musk. Later, however, you "see" that it was probably the musk, as this note is detectable in the base. What I like is that the green tea is still noticeable in the base and doesn't disappear like in some scents after the top notes.
Green tea, light woody notes, and slightly sweet musk are the main scent notes in the base. They may not smell particularly creative, but they smell light and pleasant. Tea fans will definitely enjoy this scent!
The longevity is quite okay, the scent lasts at least six hours on the skin, actually even more, but then it is of course close to the body, so it hardly smells even if you wave your arms wildly (if you sprayed it on your arms, otherwise you just shake your whole body... yeah, shake it, baby! :DDD).
Yeah, I liked this tea scent. It's a nice green tea fragrance that smells a bit bitter at the beginning and becomes slightly sweeter later, although the sweetness really stays quite limited. In my opinion, the scent is a carefree summer fragrance that you can spray on anywhere and anytime (and even in larger amounts or higher dosages). Because the sillage is weak, it shouldn't annoy others even with a higher dosage. It may not be suitable for going out, but it's a scent that you can use, for example, at work, in your free time, or just to relax when you occasionally want a light, pleasant tea smell in your nose.
Especially in summer, it can be nice when you're lazily lying in a hammock (if available), or on a lounge chair in the garden (if available), or just lying in bed (uh... if available?? :DD).
And with the affordable price of the scent, you can't really go wrong here; you just have to like green or bitter scents with tea in them.

The scent:
The scent starts with a nice and refreshing green tea that smells slightly bitter, but still pleasant. Mint goes perfectly with it (no wonder that in Morocco, mint is always added to green tea!). The roses are, in my opinion, only very faintly present, so that they are soon hardly noticeable, as the bitter notes are stronger.

The sillage and longevity:
Oh yes... with such scents, sometimes the sillage is really disappointing. Because it only smells good at the beginning, and even then only for a few minutes. Shortly after, the intensity decreases so much that it soon becomes difficult to smell the scent at the sprayed spot. So I think others won't smell it on you unless you press really hard :DThe longevity is quite okay, the scent lasts at least six hours on the skin, actually even more, but then it is of course close to the body, so it hardly smells even if you wave your arms wildly (if you sprayed it on your arms, otherwise you just shake your whole body... yeah, shake it, baby! :DDD).
The bottle:
The bottle is cylindrical and clear. It has a simple label on it, which features not only the name of the scent but also a stylized flower. The cap is cylindrical and black. Nothing very exciting, just okay. Yeah, I liked this tea scent.
